Will cons get a lmg upgrade in the next patch?

So ppl are freak out about cons getting a dp28? The worst Lmg ever exists in coh , as long as LMG unlocked by soviet T3 Or T4, there will be no con blob
I think it is more of "What can we do to make Cons better while also being unique."
As others have already said in the thread, there are already too many LMGs in the game. Do we really want another unit to just stand still in green cover with an LMG upgrade late game? Sure maybe giving them 1-2 DPs would make them stronger, but it also doesn't really contribute to the diversifying the game in any meaningful fashion. It'd be yet another no-brainer upgrade because it is a strict increase in squad performance that everyone always gets... pretty much like the LMG42 is now.
I'd just rather see a cooler way to improve Cons. Plus infantry weapon upgrades have always been a huge pain in the ass to balance... and they still are. Most of the infantry combat problems in CoH 2 are still related to weapon upgrades.

Not only its the worst lmg in the game, its also about being given to the worst inf in the game.
Axis players shoulkd simply admit: they want to win engagements using attack move
Top players say cons (and soviet inf overall) are fuked when grens get lmg upgraded. That is clearly a evidencial testimony of stuff being inbalanced, more precise - sov inf underperforming.
Maybe cons should get a 7 men squad?

What about giving cons a 7th model at vet 2 like rear echalon?
Cons become a 7 men squad with vet 2. Why not? Soviets compensate their inferiority with superior numbers is the main idea behind Sov faction in coh2 if I get it right.

Can't help but feel like conscripts don't need LMGs, it's the LMGs of other factions that need a nerf. They remove a large part of the depth behind infantry combat since now standing still at max range is the most efficient.
I would put it more precise. Axis inf stands still or attack moves. Its allies who need a tone of micro to be effective.
As SU player I need to utilise cover to close on grens, I need to micro each single con squad perfectly while axis player does not need to do anything at all.

They get supressed anyway since tractor does not provide enough cover even for 5 men.

Alright, I can understand you, but this not a history lesson, it's just a game. And to do this game interesting relic need to do job for all factions.

Let infantry just shoot rifles. why not

Yeah a 7th guy could be pretty cool. Maybe a 7th guy and give them a slightly stronger survival buff at vet 3 so that they can actually hold the line while other Soviet units do the real work? I'd be interested in testing out something like that. Although a 7th man, plus an Ober nerf might be fine as well.
