Should shreks be removed from volks? Poll

Sturmpios get a double shreck upgrade for 120MU.
Volks/Ober blobs gone. Problem solved.

Shrecks should definitely be removed from volks. Volks should then get Pzfausts + AI upgrade as replacement.
Sturmpios get a double shreck upgrade for 120MU.
Volks/Ober blobs gone. Problem solved.
Only in our dreams. Sturmpios once were the squad with the panzerschreck, if you pick up a schreck with a sturmpio squad there are audio files for that.
I don't know why relic changed that, it seems so much better.

Why? One thing would be similar to Ostheer: Double shrecks on a close-mid range inf squad.
Everything else would be different, or not?

one schreck one sturmpios would be enough. This way you couldn't spam it(unless you can allow high mp bleed) and you need combined arms with mines and raketenwerfer - that fits the spirit of coh.

I would like to see something like with the panzer elite in vcoh, you give the volks squad a at package and they become dedicated AT and terrible at AI. Maybe they could do something like giving them the schreck would reduce the squad size to 3 or 4 men. This would encourage players to not upgrade schrecks on all of their units.

A massive blob of Infantry AT and Infantry AI weapons rolling around decimating everything and only getting stronger each time it comes back. I think they're enough like Panzer Elite as it is...

I do not believe these are the only option. IMHO, the game needs fine tuning, not thrown into chaos.

Giving the panzerfaust to volks would make them very similar to grens, and giving double schrecks to sturmpios would make them very similar to panzergrens.

Volks shouldn't have any AT options apart from Pzfausts. Giving AT weapons to such a cheap/spammable infantry squad is just a bad idea - especially with Obers in the same army.
Obers + Volks = Anti everything. That's the real problem. That's why shrecks have to be given to a more expensive/smaller squad...Sturmpios. Reducing squad size when equipped with shrecks won't change much except that you see more frustrating squad wipes.
Some similarities are necessary. Designing factions entirely different simply becomes too hard to balance.
Sturms would be similar to PzGrens in terms of AT. I have no problem with that.
Volks would be kinda similar to Grens just like Cons are kinda similar to Rifles. Again, I don't really see that as a problem.

This poll has shit options, but I'll bite. However I think the Volks Faust should be cheaper than Ostheer's, but will not cause Engine Damage, only 120 damage. It'd instead serve as a deterrent or a finisher, but not a snare.
Why not?
Fire a faust then finish it off with raketwerfer
Seems like a good synergy there
Actually faust is more than enough for USF paper armor

Yeah and then you're forced to build another 320 mp squad to get a mine sweeper because you now have 4 useless and yet very expensive dudes unable to do their job. Salvage/build <insert random stuff>, look away for a split second, squad gets one shotted, you just lost 320mp/120MU and gave your opponent 2 Schreks. Oh and you still can't detect mines.
Please think twice before posting nonsense.
