A suggestion to fix Shrek Volk blobs

It may not be good in squadwipes, but it could really hurt OH and OKW support weapons especially since they are 4 men squads.
since the recent pak40 nerf, zis seems to be a slightly better choice due to the 6 men squad. Zis could survive a lucky 88 shot from a tiger killing at most 3/6 entities, IS2/ISU152 is just going to 1 shot the pak40
Its also contributes to the fact that 4men USF MG & at gun dont really work well when dealing with splash

I expect to bring down squad health down and kill model or two out of 3 squad group, lets say. If they decide to continue flank and walk through barage.
That opens opportunity for me to punish low health squads and do some fast and serious damage.
Or they decide to wait it out, which gives me time to bring reinforcements and/or reposition my troops.
Thats what I expect, and I more often than not achieve desired result.
Or I also find it useful to force HMG/squads out of green cover allowing me chance to close in or flank. etc, etc...

sure, you're right about expectations, but I'd expect more for 60 munis. I don't think forcing a unit to move or killing a few guys is good enough for 60 munis.

i'm not sure how effective it still is but for quite a while you could counter the OKH mortar with it and sometimes get wipes. it's really not a bad ability, it just cost 60mun per use instead of 240mp plus upkeep for a mortar team.

isn't guard nades and other best infantry nades 45 muni?
60 muni is really not that much for what you get. its just very situational. i like to use it when they charge my zis.

Zis barrage is extremely good vs infantry blobs,especially firing from the darkness.Almost guarantee squadwipe or 2-3 models on 2 squads gone.
If the Zis is in line of sight its pretty easy to avoid, since the first shot after the animation appears usually is just a regular shot. Just sidestep with your men and bam 60 muni wasted. I would still much rather have pak if only for the stun.

I think it is if one of the models gunning the weapon, not the rest of the crew.

Artillery Artillery Artillery, or IS-2 spam. Because Shreks sometimes have a hard time against it. Best things against shrek spam is either going 120s, or by getting a KV-8 and rushing his base.How about Demo charge of Blob Annihilator?

Well, Demos can work if A. He is stupid and doesn't get sweepers after the first demo or beforehand. B. You're able to lay it in a pretty damn good spot for the volk blob to be literally over it perfectly. So it's a 50/50 at times, but yeah it works too.

Up the cost to 100 muni
it will still be spammed and blobbed, but it will just be a little harder.
