Relic thought axis needs more players

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Actually it's wise to give new players the easiest faction. And also queues are quite equal for allies and axis now, that couldn't last too long Kappa

Easy, i'm not a fanboy. Still I believe that OKW is best for those "i wanna win" beginners. For those that have some rts experience wehr is the best choice because of linear tech structure.

Might not be that bad of an idea, lots of newbie axis players => allies have easier time winning and it makes them happy.
