Had this happen right before today's patch so the replay is bogus. A Luchs ran over a cluster of 3 USF anti-vehicle mines and absolutely nothing happened to it.
Who replaced my mines with firecrackers?

They really need to be a bit easier to use. In what situation would I ever use just one.
They need to either to 1. Be stronger individually and more expensive or 2. Be built in fields like S-mines.

My teammate once littered the whole ice on rzehv with them, it managed to immobilize the panther but not strong enough to sink the ice..
Building in fields sounds like a great idea. Its just a stupid micro tax the way you have to plant them now. Just like those small mines you have in the soviet doctrines.

I've never seen them do more than like 15% damage to a Kubel, even clustered. I thought they were bugged so stopped using them.

Got a destroyed engine on a tiger because of these things, but you can drive with a kubel through two of them and it does no damage. I really don't understand these mines.

To get them to actually do something you need to to 6-10 in spot to get them to work. They are too unpredictable to use and if you try and depend on them you'll be disappointed. I wish the usf had non doctrinal mines other than the m20 it would help with dealing with axis armor.

I would rather spend 60 on 1 m20 mine that I can depend on, than spend 70 on 10 that may or may not do anything at all. These mines suck as they are.

I like the idea of spamming them the way you like (unlike S-mine) but they are unreliable and you can't be sure if your flank is secure or not.
