I don't know what will now happen to Ostheer in 1 vs 1. WC 51 just got moved to 1 CP because it just wrecked Ostheer in the early game. And now this Pak 40 nerf... I wonder if the faction will survive this.

It wont. M20 vs Ostheer was already broken. Pak 4o was only counter and now reload is nerfed. Just lol

Because you certainly cant harvest your 5 fuel back from a kubel.

Pros:

-Kubel rendered more manageable. Hopefully no more missing it with AT guns thrice in a row.
-ISU and Jagd change seems decent, at least they will require a minimum of micro this time. Still thing it's more a band-aid than an actual fix, but at least noobs will no longer be able to easily squadwipe with a single ISU.
-Bug fixes, like the Maxim bug, at last.
-PaK nerf I'm not certain about, but at least as US my entire T4 is no longer countered by 1 unit I suppose.
-Improvements to off-maps = great idea.

Cons;

-Still no fix for some OP units (Obers, Soviet snipers primarily)
-Still lots of useless units and/or doctrines in the game (primarily Soviet but by no means exclusively)
-PaK and Kubel nerf will help slightly, but US still needs love. As does Ostheer T4
-Call-in meta is still on, most likely.
-Those weapon team changes might favor Maxims a bit too much, as I read them at least.

Overall, this is one step in the right direction, which is probably much better than the Relic average of one and a half good steps, one bad step.

Couple of ninja changes, will take a while to actually shift through the patch so this is very much a work in progress. More tomorrow, perhaps.

Paratrooper lieutenant/captain bonuses removed, accuracy bonus at vet2 nerfed back from 1.4 to 1.25*
Stuart shell shock lost deflection damage (50% --> 0%), reload speed slowed (1.5 --> 1.75), scatter decreased
Pack Howitzer AOE decreased from 6 to 4, scatter reduced
Raketenwerfer can be suppressed
.50 cal vet2 penetration nerfed to be same as vet0 gun (1.5 --> 1 far)
EZ8 400/145 --> 380/140, Armor 215 --> 200
Ostruppen given 1.2 armor
Sherman smoke wind up/wind down removed, reload shortened and scatter reduced.

*Accuracy bonus nerf does not apply to Recon paratroopers

Oh yeah. They can just get that fuel right back if they can get to the wreck. This change was necessary.

some nice changes but im mostly interested in "Long term, we will be addressing faction scaling, how the power of a faction compounds into the late game, and difficulty of play related to Allied army composition. That said, other factors will likely be added to that list as we further investigate some of the challenges players are facing"

Be interesting to know how they plan on addressing this, i.e. unit buffs/changes or faction re-designs.
