Commanders worth while to purchase?

Since Steam is having a sale on CoH2, I was wondering if the commanders from the Digital Collector's Edition is worth the extra $10?

My advice: save the money and hope the 2x warspoils RNGods are kind and drop some top tier commanders

Just buy standard edition, and pick 10 commanders at $1 each that you like.

You can get 10 commanders, that you pick, at the sale.. Get mechanized assault, elite troops and lightning war for OS

Look at the four last bulletins. It fascinating that some people don't even know what the bulletins in this picture are for. I'd vote for that this bulletin is the worst bulletin in the game.
The 2x warspoils just gives you more shit and nothing useful.

The CE ones? No, they aren't even notable commanders to begin with. Lightning War is about as close as I'd recommend, but honestly it's just basically Jaegar but with a Tiger.

But hey anything to take advantage of a 5% reduction in cooldown for a special ability. That's like what, 28 seconds instead of 30 seconds.
REGULAR veterancy levels offer more bonuses than that.

He means Dispatch recharge timer, not ability recharge.

I am hoping for War Spoil to drop Rifle Company and Scavenge/Fortification doc sometime in this century, so far this week I been getting duplicate Kubel speed/accel bulletins over and over again with the occasional Mechanized Company & Elite Armor(2X) drops.

I am hoping for War Spoil to drop Rifle Company and Scavenge/Fortification doc sometime in this century, so far this week I been getting duplicate Kubel speed/accel bulletins over and over again with the occasional Mechanized Company & Elite Armor(2X) drops.
I wish trading existed for the war spoils, I have 3 rifle company and 4 recon supports. Still have no Mechanized or that Armour one though

That is what I put down for the recent War Spoil survey RELIC put out, the duplicate commanders are the biggest reason why I don't enjoy War spoils.

I voted crafting, because in the last 3 months I have gotten 0 commanders and the few commander drops that I got in the first few weeks were sovs/wehr duplicates with little-to-no trading value.

They need more existing content (more commanders & bulletins) and trading as well as new additional content for the war spoils to be worth anything.

Nah, flooding the game with more commanders will create more balancing problems.
You should have seen the game when soviet industry/ elite troops was released.
It is though God by command has withdrawn every other throne.

Oh alright then. So that means I get to spam a doctrine-specific unit rarely used more than once in a match, 10% faster than usual.

If you don't mind the intense micro, I highly recommend the Ostruppen for the Wermacht and the Partisan for the Soviets.
Ostruppen perform reliably in all game modes, though it doesn't mean they do good, just reliably.
Partisan really shine in games that have maps with multiple buildings and 3v3 or above games.
Issues for both commanders is that they rely on good micro or they won't be used to their full potential. Ostruppen need cover buffs to hit enemies accurately while the Partisan needs to looked after with care due to their fragile vitality.
