How do you know this? Is it some insider information? :)

If its true, I expected as much. Being able to spectate live games seemed way too ambitious for them. Then again I'll be pleasantly surprised if it isn't.

I don't know anything but I'm judging by the posts in this thread and I guess some of these people are in the alpha. Mentioning "casters, streamers" etc. lowered my expectations immensely. Sure, it will be a whole other thing to watch SNF cast a live game instead of watching a replay but I guess that's it for the majority of the people.

Perhaps we should wait and see what is announced tomorrow then instead of speculating.

Previewing? So that means we are going to get in in a patch in 3 months right?

So if we close our eyes and hold our ears everything is going to be ok?

custom matches are the only ones that make sense. Unless automatch games are to be broadcast with some huge delay. Didn't command and conquer start doing that?

My bet: Observer mode like in Smite, everyone who wants(and can find a game via playing friend) can join with 3 minute delay.

Why would that be? What if you could spectate your friend and only see what he is seeing? They should have done this for automatch as well. It would be the same thing as watching someone streaming on Hitbox with just a few seconds delay, except that you can look around the map yourself and experience the fight in highest quality possible.

But I guess we'll have to be excited about some streamer doing some livecast sometime...

I believe League and DOTA2 have something like a 2 minute delay so it is okay

Then you are watching the whole game. I'm talking about just spectating one side of the game in real time.

The real question is how many new bugs will introduce?

New feature, you will be able to see what your enemy is doing in real time with the new observer mode :D

All joke aside, I have uninstalled COH2 for now. A lot will need to be done in terms of game design, balance and bug fixing in order for me to come back.

I saw a post about CS:GO, I have return to CS:GO, if anyone wants to play, add me.

I don't think real time is fair. First, there is bound to be a delay because of lag. Secondly, even though you are only spectating one side, you can have people "spot" for you which is still cheating.

You will need the delay to prevent cheating.
