Terrible Load Times - SSD - i7 - HD7950 - 8GB RAM

Any guidance out there? AMD drivers? A Steam install issue? Never had this problem on CoH1, and this problem has persisted across SSD (went from Intel to a Samsung 850)
EDIT - I am not good with computer

I imagine the amount of ram your video card has and other video card factors play a significant role and its not just about hard drive speed.

If it's persisted across a fresh install (SSD change) it's probably a software conflict with an antivirus or something along those lines.
really the only other thing I can think of - I cant imagine its a settings thing for the graphics card, its not rendering anything, mostly CPU cycles.

I'm unsure what that means for the bottle neck but load times are really strange sometimes.

Also, if you're using Nehalem i7 (i7-9xx), you may want to overclock it a bit.

I have over 4GB available (chrome is a hell of a memory hog)

I have used SSD for years it's probably this:

SSD is less than half full (129 GB free of 238 formatted storage) - and low free space on SSDs generally slows down write speeds much more appreciably than read speeds

after poking around my system for the past few hours, I stumbled on the fact that my CPU ratio was set to 16.... so it was maxing at 1.6 GHz

While you're at it, make sure all 4 cores are active and HT is activated. Check with CPU-Z.

I will trin to find tests where AND GPU pefome slightly better then NVIDIA's counterparts. Something wrong with you SSD controlers , i think.
