Currently the War-Spoils system is based on luck where you are rewarded random bulletins, commanders and skins at the end of a game. What I suggest is that there should be a another way for player to aim for these items through competitive game-play.

For instance if a player in a 1v1 auto-match manages to get a King Tiger(KT) to Vet 5 he should automatically be rewarded a war spoil at the end of the match unique to gaining that achievement like a special skin. This way in future games, players that would come up against his KT would instantly recognize that this player has achieved a remarkable feat. These types of achievements should only be rewarded in competitive matches and not custom games where you can stage getting the achievements. I believe this would be a great way to encourage more people to play competitively and keep existing players as they have something to work towards.

A list of some example achievements and possible rewards:

Vet 5 KT = Unique Skin (This could be done for all OKW Vehicles and on some vehicles from other factions)

Getting 100 Kills on a Rifle man Squad = Unique Faceplate or bulletin

Killing A Tiger with a T70 or t-34 = Unique skin

Exploding 4 squads on a demo charge = bulletin

The list goes on. What achievements would you suggest?

Nice idea! Could motivate some different playstyles.

Except this:
Exploding 4 squads on a demo charge = bulletin

You should be banned from online gaming for a year for cheap play.



Also: when you get 10th duplicate bulletin, you get an extra bulletin (also duplicate) / bulletin which gives 5% chance of getting duplicate bulletins in future.

This was how it worked before war spoils... War spoils just need refining, no need for the old system.

I've gotta agree with Hogman here. This is exactly how War Spoils worked before, and people complained - so we now have war spoils.

The original design pitch for bulletins from Duffy is strong here however - Really cool, unique achievements giving rewards. The player who wins 1000 games gets the coolest shit imaginable, rather than it being a random loot drop.

But, Relic have said they don't want that to be the case. I'd be surprised if that changed.
