lol @ support your tanks too argument. lol isu 1 shots everything, how is dead stuff supposed to support a tank in an attack? elephant is NOT a counter to ISU. anyone who says so hasn't used the "new" useless elephant. soviet whiners give it up. you cannot defend this unit any longer. it is as stupid as when you all were trying to defend the ridiculous kat patch. just absolutely no substance in your defense. like i said i know many of you need unfair units to win, but, for the rest of everyone else, its op and needs fixing.

no it just 1 shots entire vet 3/5 units. thats far better than hooting like machine gun. not only does it one shot infantry it 2 shots p4's, 2/3 shots panthers, 3/4 shots tigers. that is the definition of op.

This unit is the worst imba in coh history after the tiger ace version 1.0.The worst of it all is its party's going on since march.5 months and still laughing....

yea they rape them fairly. kt DOES NOT 2 shot mediums, maybe t34/76 in the REAR. it does not matter what it shoots. its COH. BALANCE OVER REALISM.

It also had a ROF of 1 round per minute.And poor accuracy...
And KT has to do that within range of enemy weapons.
JGT if it gets in range is done due to crew shock.

Kt does 240 per shot, the t34 and Sherman have 640. This applies to the ISU and German mediums as well.

if the 88 pens everytime. the isu you know you will destroy it in 2-3 shots.

The way to fix it, is bring back the way tanks worked in coh 1. For example, the sherman or cromwell would consistently kill 1 guy per shot, it rarely missed, and it rarely killed more than 1.

Something like that could be implemented in coh 2.

Pz IV, t-34 , tiger - 1 guy per shot

IS-2 - 2-3 guys per sho
Isu-152 - 99% of the time 3 guys per shot.

Or something like that, if you remember in coh 1, the sherman practically never missed and killed 1 guy per shot. Consistently. That's what id like to see in coh 2. Consistensy.


So you want Conscripts to die after 6 shoots from Tiger, PzIV while Grenadiers to being 2 shooter by majority of SU armour?

Yeah, great idea.

kt has the same damage as an isu. neither of them 2 shot mediums

Do you realize we can't see yours? Even after you having been asked several times to show it.

The courtesy rule should be not criticize other people's playercards without showing yours beforehand. -_-

EDIT: Btw, Vaz is around top 200 as soviet in 2vs2 with random mates and top 100 in 3vs3/4vs4. I don't know why we don't have to consider his balance viewpoints.


Getting back to the topic, this discussion is going nowhere. I don't know if ISU-152 is really OP, because I don't know all the values and numbers involved. But as a soviet player I know that without ISU-152 and IS2 all soviet faction is condemned to the abyss, because they are the ONLY thing that can face axis superheavies (And IS2 not so well).

In my opinion, all of them need a rework, because they are fairly cheap, as they can be seen in EVERY 2vs2 game. It was strange in vCoH to see Pershings and King Tigers in every fucking game, because they were very expensive and needed a lot of doctrine points to unlock.
Only in games past the 40 minutes mark you could see those beasts. And even so, normal core units like M10 or panthers could beat them.

CoH2, on the other hand, negates core units use against super heavies giving them stupid armor values, abilities like shocking crew, smoke, etc, and worst of it all, stupid long range shots (100!!, cmon) that can pass throught buildings and obstacles.

Personally, I'd prefer that all these shit disappeared from the game and we'd have just normal heavy tanks like old vCoH Pershing.

But I'm certainly not the only that does.

And as to this other poster, well, his player card frankly is something he should keep hidden, again, to not end up justifying (rightly so) accusations of bias.

At max range an EZ8 has a 7% chance of deflecting KT. And that's it for the allied non-heavies that can deflect it at any vet level.

only call ins can even bounce the kt. for US, its only the easy eight. for soviets, its kv1, kv2, kv8, is2, and isu.
