So, Ive just updated Coh2 today, I played last night so whatever the update was, it came today. I launched the game and got into a match, and immediately noticed that my HQ truck is bright purple, the sturmpios are silvery grey and there are a bunch of missing models, the flack emplacements for example just appear as these gold cubes!?

Its not a graphics card issue, I checked that...

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting this? Its obviously a bunch of missing textures and models, but I dont really know where to start...

Any ideas?

This has happened to me before, and had nothing to do with any patch. I just restarted the game and it was fine though.

I think you can also try verifying your game cache through steam

Verifying the game cache found a missing file, steam re-downloaded it and now its fixed!

Basic troubleshooting step, tbh.

I mean, the stuff I normally check/perform:
1. C++ Redist update
2. .NET update
3. DirectX
4. Anything else in the steam folders (installers and prerequisites)
5. Verify cache
6. Reinstall (this step can be problematic for some with slower internet connections, but it's highly recommended)

I normally give up after those.
