I think this is a fantastic idea. It allows players to sample commanders and keeps things fresh.
Given that War Spoils still sucks and Relic's reputation with execution, I'm still leery. But this is a bloody good start I dare say
Commander Rotation? Bloody fantastic

Nice to see people actually happy about this. The other thread is filled with "These new free commanders are terrible because something else is broken".

The ost commander in rotation was the Pay 2 win commander released last year.
I find it funny to see it first one the menu as it's really good against the USF and is the solution to the ost's early game problems against them. Mechanized is op against USF.

Good man, spread the non-toxicity, make the toxic people hide in their man-caves. Here's a brownie point from yours truly! +1

I appreciate this. The fact that Relic started with decent commanders means that we'll end up with the newer and better commanders as possible options; perhaps they are starting from the earliest - useful commanders and skipping the crappy recycled commanders. For an entire week, and not just a weekend. Perhaps ill be able to use soviet partisan tactics and luftwaffe supply in a week or two...

Currently, I feel this is good idea, even though I am wincing at the fact that I just bought mechanized assualt and now it is free.
I can see this allowing players to get familiar with all tactics without the need to purchase them.

Does anyone know the frequency of the rotations? like 1 week X and Y commanders are free but how much time is there between the free weeks? I like it though, can't argue about getting things for free.

Willy Pete: @Rosbone Ahh I missed that memo. I still think its a bad decision though. Adds frustration for players and isnt gonna make them that much money

Rosbone: It is also good they left it free until after the free to play weekend. Points for that.

Rosbone: But I agree, the cost to get a full decent Coh game pushing $115 US is not the best idea. Especially when it needs so much more work for casuals.

Rosbone: To be fair, it was a thank you to early fans right? They said it was not free for long and it would become a pay DLC at some point.
