These is a new Hollywood movie comming in 2014/2015. Starring Brad pitt about WW2 western front tank battles.
Here is the Story:
April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and out-gunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

They have used the only existing running Tiger tank from bovington tank Museum for this film.

Here is the Trailer:

What do you think about this movie?

Well i personally think that the Story is quiet unrealistic. Set in 1945 Brad Pitt and his Buddys are outnumbered. The Trailer says 5 americans against 300 Germans.........And at the end of the Trailer you saw pieces from the (possible?) final duel between Pitt s "Fury" Sherman and the German Tiger tank.

Will you watch this movie? I am not sure about it. If i look at the Trailer i think the Tiger could Need a buff maybe?

That's not an M4A2. It's an M4A3E8.

If the movie ends with the Tiger vs Sherman tank battle, it sort of will remind me of the Russian movie that came out a bit ago with the Tiger vs T-34 battle.

In the movie it's meant to be a M4A3E8 though. The US Army never used M4A2's or 4's.

Spoiler alert:

At the end of the film they destroy Hitler's HQ and get rewarded with the same Medium tank skin that their tanks in the film already have.
Brad Pitt spends the last 5 minutes of the film sobbing, whilst his crew look around them, baring expressions that seem to be a combination of disappointment and frustration.

Again bullshit patriotism US movie. 5vs.300. I ask myself how Germany earned their fame with "Blitzkrieg" "Elite-Units" etc. if they are all running straight into their death, running like chickens outside of bunkers (Shaving Private Ryan) or running from right to the left like in Band of Brothers....

Saving Private Ryan is barely a patriotism movie. The US soldiers shoot surrendering Germans just as much as the Germans shoot surrendering Americans. And gee, no shit you run out of your bunker if you are surrounded by the enemy, what the fuck else are you supposed to do? The unit that defended Omaha wasn't even elite, they were just regular infantrymen.

Has anyone seen Downfall? They nerf Hitler really badly in that film, he becomes even more useless than a COH1 officer!
