Double T-34/85's because you can pincer-attack enemy armour and get rear hits.
If IS-2 gets a health buff and it's old main gun back (with buffed MG but nerfed AOE), then we'll talk!

t-34/85 obviously..not even a serious poll.
Twin t-34s can kill every german tank in the game....is-2 can't..they are also faster and can self repair.The effect of 2 t-34s on infantry is equal or better than 1 is-2.t-34/85s also far less vulnerable to both tiger and elfant..the 2 german lategame tank than is-2 which will lose to both against elfant due to speed and tiger due to ROF.
T-34/85 can swarm tiger and with mark target dispatch it...and can use its speed to flank elefants well too.
That leaves panther which is rarely used.This is one area is-2 shines..but because panther is seldom used it doesn't count for much.
The other german tank is pz 4...both kill it equally easy.But against is-2 pz 4 has speed to run away..against t-34/85 it can't and will be hunted down.
On top it comes with a doctrine that has self repair and mark target..some of the most useful armor abilities in the game.
Finally its 9 cp to 11cp.
11CP usually means u have to build a building to get there..9 cp u can scrape to.

with the tiger being so common this patch is2 isn't worth it i feel. it feels weak this patch tbh though its still got good good anti inf which is still useful and its better than the t34/85 anti infantry.
Failure is always an option.

I love how people forget that the T34/85 lives in three doctrines.

The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.

I'm ok with tiger AI nerf..but if tiger gets worse than it is in AT deptmt then its hopeless.Its already nothing worldbeating in AT dept..good but not remotely OP in tank killing.Especially vulnerable to mediums.
Agreed. AT is fine on the Tiger. AI is batshit crazy especially for an Ost tank. But TBH I dont really care that it kills scripts and such its how good it is at hard countering multiple Zis.

without a doubt t34/85. since armour dont do much against the plethora of high pen guns that german AT has. 800x2 hp is better than a 960hp.
not to mention more dps from twice the guns and t34/85 has decent AI too.

T34/85 for sure. Because it comes earlier and can start killing infantry in mid game.
I think all the heavy tanks should be shaped/balanced as IS-2. Heavy to receive some damage, stronger than any other tier tank but not that strong to wipe enemy infantry or tanks.
I would balance Tiger/ISU-152 and Elephant like that tank.

I go for the IS-2 tbh, one mistake and its too easy for a T-34-85 to be destroyed, meaning you've lost half your investment and rendering the other T-34-85 pretty useless. Meanwhile an IS can be taken down to half health and then can be put back and repaired...
