T34/85 for sure. Because it comes earlier and can start killing infantry in mid game.

I think all the heavy tanks should be shaped/balanced as IS-2. Heavy to receive some damage, stronger than any other tier tank but not that strong to wipe enemy infantry or tanks.

I would balance Tiger/ISU-152 and Elephant like that tank.

...Who would get then Elefant or ISU152 if they cant do good damage from afar?

Its called generalization.

It doesn't kill balance, but it makes sure any and all enjoyment, fun, diversity and "feel" is being taken away to the dark dungeon and slaughtered mercilessly.

Personally:

SU-85 or T-34/76 to T-34/85s with marked target

SU-85 or T-34/76 to T-34/85s to IS-2

SU-85 or T-34/76 to Is-2 (don't like T-34/76 or KV-8 to IS-2.)

Probably T-34/85s by a bit.

T-34/85 needs single call-in, saving another 260fuel for the next T-34/85 packs is retarded.

There is a Commander with the single call-ins, but it's ~exclusive~ and impossible to get now.

And without a core infantry unit.....using T-34/85s fight enemy heavy armor without mark target.

what a viable commander..

2 T34/85s are probably better than the IS2, but I think Shock Rifle is the best commander for my play style in 1v1 on most maps, so I say IS2 is better in the context of the commanders.

The T-34/85 is the best generalist medium tank in the game, and you're still complaining about it.

Seriously with the current meta, only Soviet tanks worth using are T-34/85, M4C or ISU-152, anything else is just a "I win more" button.

T34/85s, IS2 only has one single major advantage and that is being more durable individually than a T34. It comes to the field later, it's slower, it's much more vulnerable to mines, it's worse against infantry, it's worse against all T3 vehicles, and it's worse against all T4/call-in tanks whenever you could gain rear armor hits with atleast one T34/85.

I guess it still has some reason to exist in large team games as a bullet spongey spammable, but in 1vs1, there's pretty much no reason to get one.
