StugE needs a slight tone down

I think for the cheapness the Stug E needs a slight tone down (not the previous useless ness). With the new explosives the Stug E just racks up kills easily and is rather accurate. I do not know of the explosives will be really looked at in the next patch, if so then that should do. But if not I think that a slight accuracy adjustment should be fine.

Anything less and it is useless once more. Any AT easily kills it, and it is super handicapped with a broken engine. Its a stug with even less AT and costs only a tad cheaper. Its fine, unless you want people arguing about the effectiveness of soviet AI tanks...

works just fine compared to the other AI tanks. no change is currently needed

I do get the impression that it is a bit too effective at the moment, but it could be that Relic's idea behind this unit is to be on pair with KV-8 regarding AI capabilities. That said small adjustment won't hurt.

It is very effective when you put 6 shocks before a StugE.
But dude, you see the assgrens very early in the game, so you know the stugE is coming at 6 CP. Get a freakin' Zis out and the StugE can't do shit. StugE hasn't got big armor.

Yes it's good against infantry, but not too good.
Just get some support.

No, it doesn't need to be nerfed even slightly. It has 400 hit points so 1 at grenade and 2 zis shots or 2 guard squads with button or mark and its down. Plus people dont usually spam it like the Stug G because its pretty useless against tanks.

What it needs is a tone down in anti tank capabilities.

Even tho it has low penetration for some reason it does 160 damage, which means that it needs only 4 penetrating shots to kill off a t-34/76.

That's a bit weird since PIV command tank does like 80? or even less damage...

so yeah, STUG e needs a damage nerf when it comes to armor, it should do a full 160 damage againts tanks... it should basically be a non turreted command tank when it comes to anti armor. I honestly think that this could of been a bug or something.

Umm, StuG-e does 80 damage.
Pretty much always did. With 40 penetration.

hmm, that's weird, i remember aproaching 2 stug-e assault guns with my t-34 and both of the shots penetrated (not very often it does that but still) and the t-34/76 went down from full to half health. Must of missed a pak somewhere there.


Oh, its fine then really.

I have the same problem with the StugE as I do with other call-ins. They should require some sort of tech in addition to the CPs.

Ok, I only thought if anything it only needed a slight adjustment but it seems I was wrong, I have just had extreme luck when using it and when facing it where it just always hits and kills 2-3 guys every shot. For 200 MP and 75 fuel it just seemed too effective for its cost but I guess not

Remember, it's an anti infantry unit that comes late at cp6.
