Thoughts on it? Pretty happy myself, with OKW at least. Someone will have to explain airborne assault. Used 2 times, 2 instakills of falls and not one shot from a stuka.
The new forest map is ace as well.

Airdrop combat group drops 2 airborne squads and a at gun with a crew

Elite riflemen are a call-in rifle squad with veterancy

Withdraw and Refit allows you to refund a vehicle and get most of the resources you spent on it back.

Withdraw and refit isnt that bad then - you can get rid of old m20's, m5 AA halftracks, and stuarts once late game outclasses them. You can use the resources for shermans and jacksons then.

Yup that's exactly it. The strat I used in beta was to call in the jeep and use that till light vehicles and schreks came out. Then the M20 to lay some AT mine until armor arrives. Then start on shermans. Pretty much lets you quick tech to medium armor while still using light vehicles.

Awesome man, can you please give a description or screenshot of each commanders? Would you please give details about the WC51 and Forward Observers + IR Pathfinders. Is the M3 Half-track Assault Group similar to the Soviet ones? I heard someone said there is a commander with the Jumbo also.

WC51: It's a jeep with a machine gun
IR Pathfinders: PAthfinders that have one less guy, but can call in artillery
Forward Observers: riflemen in cover see further
M3 halftrack: Halftrack with assault engineers

And how about the Ez8 Sherman, are they the same as Soviet Lend-Lease or do they have any extra abilities?

Based on the descriptions of every ability that was said... these 3 commanders trump the starting three. I find it disappointing when i cant find a use for all of a commander's abilities, but these commanders seem very useful.

Either the Wehr or OKW has a new commander. I have no idea what it has:

Is it me, or do vehicles have their lights on during dark maps? I was playing one of the newer maps, and suddenly i realized my OKW vehicles had their lights on.

Man, the US Infantry company commander is the best one. Everything is useful. The 30 cal. suppresses quite well and does damage.

Mortar halftrack is decent. Riflemen can build stuff.

The priest is so good, surprisingly fast recharge with probably OP range.

Time on target is accurate and can knock out idle tanks.

The base commanders.

It looks to me that:

US Armor: For Armor rushes, Skip T4

US Infantry: Good for long team games

US Airborne: Good for shorter, smaller games.

----------

OKW Special Ops: Armor rushes, Skip T4

OKW LW: Good for shorter, smaller games.

OKW Breakthrough: Good for long team games

Breakthrough is certainly viable in 1v1 when u go Mechanized regiment HQ, Puma + Panzerfusilier + Sturmzofficier and then convert muni to fuel and go for Obersoildaten then Panther or wait for Jadgtiger depend on your opponent. As OKW, I dreaded T-34/85 most. Those things are evil, they just kill my precious sturmpio and too tough for my Puma + puppchen to handle

Yeah, I reject the categorizations that I made for that post on the 26th now. I think the US still stands but all 3 OKW doctrines are strong early-mid game. The Specs ops doctrine is not as strong as the other 2 early game but it has the excellent infiltration tactics.
