Hi all, in these pictures you will see a 0 man soviet mortar team.

The first pic shows a 0 man mortar team getting shot at by my mg42

This pic shows that the 0 man mortar team captured the territory and i can't reclaim it with my mg42 crew.

Hope Relic can fix this. Thanks

Stuff like this happens all the time but most of it is impossible to replicate so it's hard to find out how it exactly happens. I guess the game just forgot that the crew was killed. lol

I've had a zero man ZIS a couple of times. Only way to stop it is to destroy the actual piece of equipment.

Once in CoH1 I had a paradropping AT Gun crew survive when their AT Gun was destroyed by an Ostwind. I made them walk back to base and got a 'reinforce' button come up, so I pressed it and an AT Gun slides out of the Motor Pool. That was interesting.

Few months back here in CoH2, i had my soviet mortar destroyed, but i still had all 6 men. Well, i had 4 men walk around with guns, and 2 men with nothing in their hands. When i told them to direct fire at something, one man pulled the mortar out of thin air and started firing.

This bug still exists? In beta there was a fair chance when an AT gun got decrewed for it still to be in your possession and shoot enemies. Haven't seen this bug in a while though.

It happens, but it's exceptionally rare. I've seen Engineers chase away Grenadiers more than I've seen these posted (twice, thrice if we included my CoH1 story). Not an expert, but I'm going to get it has to do with the AT Gun / Mortar being part of the "squad" and the squad somehow forgetting to disband and the object not turning neutral when the human members are killed.

Fun Fact: AT Guns, Mortars, and MG's will all be able to fire (and AT Guns can move!) if you create them in Worldbuilder, delete the human crew members, and assign them to a player.

i have had Pios wiped but then somehow magically reincarnating as a 4man squad again just without the tab and healthbars which is extremely annoying because your troops are basically invisiable on the minimap, and i got the "ice-pak" ... which would fall into the ice and still fire half-way-upside-down

Ahhh yeah i see the problem now. If you see right their, you can see hes using elite troops doctrine

There's something wrong with Elite Troops doctrine? Anyway, this bug is something new to me. Surprised at the sight of and unmanned mortar capping my territory.

Yesterday decrewed a Soviet AT Gun that was shooting at my Tiger...and in 1 minute surprise,Tiger gone and AT Gun was still firing at my infantry,LeL

He's just trolling you. Did the mortar keep firing? That happens sometimes when AT guns get decrewed but don't "die".
I hope that Relic will take note of this bug and figure out how to fix it. I remember there was an un-recrewable 0 man MG bug in one of the SNF contender bouts between OMGPOP and VonIvan and it ended up hurting POP badly and probably cost him the game. That said, I think the bizarre behavior of some team weapons add to the "wtfomgbbq"-quality of COH. Ghost pak from COH1, anybody?

No, the mortar didn't fire at all but it certainly capped my territory. A ghost capped my territory. Good thing it was just a bot match. If it was a real match I don't know what to say.
