What about the Brummbar? It's non-doctrinal and in my experience wrecks AT guns no problem. Its armour isn't as good though. Thoughts on that?

Brummbar has low health. They're easy to take out.

Brummbär is RNG Tank:

RNG to rape units (imo this is alright)
RNG to take damage :D Sometimes it get's penetrated by everything, sometimes many shots bounce off.

It's slow, doesn't have a turret and has an extremely low fire rate as well as being incredibly vulnerable while not supported.

One change I would like to see is substantially reduced damage to retreating units. So your KV-8 gets the jump on my infantry and forces a mass retreat. Isn't that good enough? Do you really need to be able to run them all down and burn them to the ground? The speed of the tank, long range of the flames and insane damage make this very easy.

While the Stug was pursuing it was firing at the KV8s rear the whole time, three times have the rounds bounced off, the KV8s rear. The KV8 escaped to safety while the Stug was forced to retreat.

Stug penetration is 140 versus 120 rear armor of the KV8. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think your scenario is technically impossible.

Agreed. But since Relic apparently is unable to change the flame weapon profile on retreating units, slowing the KV8s speed down a little bit seems like the next reasonable step. KV8 still feels a little bit cheap at what it does.

My god, charging in your infantry into a KV-8 is an idiotic move. Don't listen to this man.

Do it. Frighten your enemies with your insanity.
