In CoH there's no non-combat gameplay, so everyone is playing (unless they're sitting in a menu).

Yeah, also because they aren't lobbies to chat like in vCoH ;)

EDIT: Damn, The Dave, you were faster

To be fair, I feel that Rome's leadership was less corrupt...

Part of me wishes they'd remove two commanders if CoH2 wins.

I also don't want COH to win. I am so tired of new commanders, I want as few people as possible to have these new things.

You people need to be a little critical of marketing gimmicks.

It's gonna come out 50/50, given how many more people play TotalWar, how could it ever be a real contest? And then they will give both titles some free DLC.

It would be funny that in case of draw no DLC will be given.

But yes, numbers are odd, two days already and they only have a difference of 2% between both games. A little hard to believe.

Nobody plays Rome 2 multiplayer, it's a graveyard over there. So yes, it ain't even a contest :p

The numbers mostly seem like they started with some high number of games and are adding new ones on top of that (say both started at like 10000 games so getting 500 games more than the other in a day will only result in 1-2% difference)

I won't.
I like the diversity new commanders bring and all of them will eventually get balanced and since I plan to stay in CoH2 for years, I'm not in hurry. No P2W screaming monkey will change that. It took 3 years for vCoH to even start being remotely balanced.

Rome II singleplayer battles and coop against the AI count too.
But only real battles, not the autoresolved ones.

Exactly. New commanders add new flavor to the game, for which I do not have to wait years until released (like a full expansion).
Besides, the new commanders will be released anyway. I would rather not pay and use them :-). CoH2 for the win!

Rome was unable to tie more then once at the first day, so I'm not afraid of CoH2 here.
