(Bug) tank shells detonating mines

Currently, tank shells that pass over hostile mines will detonate them literally 100% of the time as if the tank shell is actually hitting the mine. The shell is destroyed in the explosion as well. This is obviously a bug, as the shell should really be passing over the mine most of the time that this happens.

Never noticed that, but any kind of AoE will trigger them, even smoke shell.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

This is why I am not liking mines as much in this game, any kind of explosive seems to be magnetically attracted to them and wastes them (tank shots, mortars, artillery, grenades).

Yea, I agree with OP, I've seen a lot of stupid detonations. I don't think he's talking about AOE near the mine. I think he's saying if the path of a shell intersects a mine, the shell will detonate the mine even though the shell should just pass over the mine and go to its target.

LOL T34/85 is apparently a very good tank. But no one says it "one hit wipe" or elefant penetration; up to a point i think this little medium tank just have too much health and too much firepower with that fuel cost.

Even friendly overshots over mines detonate them...probably have to do something with the hitbox?

Caught in action again in Imperial Dane's cast today. Hopefully it's handled in this week's upcoming patch. I've heard they are aware of the bug.
