There would need to be an upper limit (And/or a setting in the menu to limit to a specific number) of corpses on the field at once, or you'll be running into performance issues later in the game (Especially as dead units are ragdolls).

Given how many units actually die through a game of CoH, you're going to be looking at some obscenely cluttered battlefields. I think it's a nice idea in theory, but in practice it wouldnt look very good.

I would like if units "vanished" in a less gamey fashion than presently though. Perhaps something similar to the way For Honor handles minion corpses, where they "dissolve" into a more muted static model after a moment. They blend into the ground much better this way.

Majority of population runs the game on electrocuted potato and some even refuse to abandon win7 and you're asking for something that will massively impact performance by rendering more?

Sorry, that feature isn't going to live past DoW1.

Agree. Lots of folks play this game on entry-level and mid range computers so it will effect performance lot. But maybe Relic can put this feature as a option.

... Relic can put this feature as a option.

It should definitely be a setting.
1) All bodies stay with physics.
2) Bodies stay as models only, no physics interaction.
3) Bodies stay as greatly reduced polycount models only.

And options for how long they stay:
1) Forever.
2) Forever until a max # is hit. FIFO buffer.
3) Fade away after 30 seconds.

I see a lot of people playing with textures set to smooth plastic levels of detail so I agree with Katitof that it may be wasted effort. Especially since people are already saying they are getting bad FPS in Coh3.

yes, more permanent bodies, and also play-dead mechanic as opposed to instant stealth in yellow or green cover.

i wonder if abandones vehicles is in COH3? maybe set it at 5% chance of happening. how about specific units who can steal enemy vehicles when health of said vehicle is 70%, that would be cool, it is something akin to breach, but on vehicles. and make all vehicles mountable with at least one infantry unit

Unlikely, given how vocal and butthurt playerbase is about it in CoH2.

funnily enough, something returned to CoH3 that is way worse than abandons could ever be: The "Bergetiger" USF recovery tank from the Armored Battlegroup

Yeah I've got a RTX 2070 SUPER, 16 GB RAM, and a Ryze 3600 CPU and the game has low framerate even on low. Think it's just poor optimization though.

EDIT: I take that back, it's a 3500.
