How do you deal with this boring ass meta? Every single game I play against wehr, they always get sniper, always. Theres no effective way to deal with this besides a counter sniper, which is much slower to shoot,comes way too late, expensive as shit and hinders your section upgrades which without them makes your mainline infantry a pile of shit. carrier doesnt work, deals no damage at all to the sniper on the move and you cant chase without losing it to a faust or small arms fire. This faction is shit honestly. You cant lose a single unit early or you're fucked. infantry sections are a big pile of shit and basically tickle the sniper if you're chasing him. If you pull off a flank he just needs to press t and he can easily escape. Whats left? You can't delay till you get a tank because oops, theres no cheap light tank you can get and you need a shit load of fuel to get a tank. What do you guys do to deal with this annoying shit honestly? And of course after you try to counter snipe the sniper youre fucked in another way... a few minutes after he will bring out a 222 and oops, you have no manpower because the sniper is bleeding you + all your units are too fucking expensive to get. 2v2 btw
While some of this is true, the Brit sniper fires just as quickly as the OST sniper (assuming you're talking about the time between declaring you want it to attack, and it actually taking a shot), and costs the same amount of MP to build. If you're in a 2v2, the expectation is that either you play around the sniper until yours arrives, or you have a Soviet ally use theirs to countersnipe.
You don't need to kill the sniper to have dealt with it, however. Even if you cant kill the sniper with your UC, its presence means the Sniper can't be in an aggressive position, and you can reasonably well zone the thing while your infantry do whatever it is they need to be doing. Having built the sniper early means that he's going to have one fewer infantry squad than you.
It's the same for OKW when they're playing against SOV or Brits, really.
Brits are an abysmally designed faction and do absolutely need major changes. My honest suggestion is to just not play them at the moment.

They go UC into fast AEC and use a mechanized force until they either get the sniper, or can use commandos to kill the sniper/deter it. At least that way you won't bleed from the sniper as hard.
Could also be hyper aggressive which is hard as brits but you don't have a lot of options against a sniper. Going somewhere else so he can't set up shop and potentially flanking the sniper can work.

im just trying to get high rank with them. They're fun to play when you dont have to deal with this bullshit, yes only 1 viable commander which is spec weapons reg. Whats not fun is having people abuse this shit that has no counter play to it.

Thanks for the tips. Youre right regarding okw having to deal with the same shit but at least they can get a light tank relatively early and also have the stuka. Brits have nothing

You have the single best counter to sniper: Another Sniper. I would love to delete Snipers from the entire game if i could, but it is what it is. So either you have to lern how to countersniper or rely on your mate forever.

I mean, its the same situation for OKW against SOV sniper. And even then, UC is probably the best ultra light which is almost uncounterable early game if you play it right .

I mean, yeah, OKW have the option of getting a Luchs to help deal with the Sniper, but UKF do have the AEC (Which is admittedly not the BEST AI unit, but isnt useless) and the upgraded UC. I'm not sure if the Stuka can really be considered an efficient counter to the sniper, incidentally.
AS others have mentioned: You really do have the single best counter to a sniper in the game, which is a sniper of your own. OKW and USF don't have that option.
Finally: It's possibly worth considering that UKF are absolutely no fun to play against at all, it's no wonder OST will do what's most effective against them.

just blob sections? If you don´t run directly in that MG your can push anyone back to base.
The more his sniper is running the less he can shoot! XD

A faction winning/being strong doesn't necessarily have anything to do with how boring/frustrating they are to play against.
UKF is dogshit, but still very boring to play against.
What makes UKF more boring to playing against than OKW?
Extremely static and defensive play that's very difficult to break for weaker players/players without certain tools, but becomes trivial for higher level players/those with access to certain tools. A primary example being the Mortar Pit. It isnt fun to play against emplacements.
As well as particular units, such as the oft overtuned nature of Sections, which often necessitates opponents go for very specific strategies, and the UC, which can be exceedingly frustrating to deal with due to it's fantastic bleeding power, and subsequent upgrades that make it very very potent.
OKW, of course, have the Kubel, but that's much more fragile, and doesn't scale nearly so well.
The latter two are functions of UKF lacking some fundamental tools, and the design team being hamstrung by Lelic so they can't do away with some abysmal design decisions (Bolster, etc), nor can they patch the gaping holes in UKF's roster, both of which would allow the remaining parts of the faction to be made less frustrating/boring to face.
