I have concerns that this new update would kill the USF's Mid game
M2 HB 50 cal HMG is the 2nd most nerfed MG team in the game next to maxim/dshk first it was the loss of vet 1 sprint and some of its supression and now its getting a longer set up/tear down time at 2 seconds this is a big problem becuse factions like OKW has global abalities that buffs all infantry weapon accuracy and movement time in many of their commanders which just so happens to be the most picked commanders in 1 VS 1 plays
secondly the M8A1 scott HMC this unit is already underused by many but when handled with care it is capable of denying ground in late game but now its losing DPS and accuracy in the auto fire department instead its barrage abality is buffed well slightly anyway now i belive in the fact using the attack ground at the desired target reduces the many of the modifiers that may hit or miss and as you would expect if units like sherman and M8 scott gets nerfed USF has little to no counter the elite infantry that germans call upon ,
In exchange Rifleman gets their AT rifle Nades through teching rather than veterancy thus players would more likely to purchase rifleman to replenish the loses taken
Now of course i may not be able to convince you the argument of at the very Least 50 cal nerf should be reverted but at the very least if you nerf the USF HMG then also Nerf the Global stat Boost abalities on OKW and Ostheer so they cant pop this abality the moment the MG is spotted

New Ability: Armored Piercing Rounds - Timed ability that loads AP rounds for 25% increased damage and +10 penetration.
And easier access with the USF tech revamp.
It is still a great HMG.

Check tournament stays , it's safe to say USF got no NERF this patch

0.50 has also received a number of buffs like:but is it justified to have its supression gutted ? not really an MG is supposed to stop infantry not wheeled veichles

I'm quite sure they buffed the mortar, and the NERF came with respective buff (more crew or better barrage ,etc)

USF mortar has actually received buffs:uh thats not the point the point is 50 Cals nerfs will make super easy to kill due to existance of global stat buffs like valiant assault

So moving the suppression from 1.1 in vet 0 translate in having suppression gutted to you? Think you are exaggerating a bit.
HMG should not have sprint to begin with because it makes flanking very difficult. That was a good change and sprint should be removed from all HMGs.

If all faction had the same tools for flanking that would make sense.
They do not so no 0.50 should not be able to stop a massed formation with 1 burst.

Allow me to try to explain this one more time HMG-42 is the most cost efficient HMG because Grenadier is the least cost efficient mainline infantry and without it they would be snowballed the same way the where snowballed by USF when HMG-42 was in T1.
Expecting the 0.50 to become a HMG-42 is like expecting Grenadier to become riflemen.

you dont get it do you ? i dont want 50 cal to be a carbon copy of the HMG 42 i want the set up bonus of the 50 cal to remain intact that way 50 cal wont be insta killed whenever OKW player attacks in a en masse formation with a global stat buff abality in case you havent noticed its the set up/tear down bonus is the only thing that allows a wounded HMG crew to escape

you missed the point that was an example i didnt said i wanted it i said that was HMG's role is to stop an incoming infantry formation with first burst supressing and subsequent bursts forcing them back but here is the thing if you make 50 cal's set up time to 2 seconds instead of 1.25 seconds it kills the HMG's effectiveness and if they dont reverse this they should atleast nerf the(increase the cost of) the abalities like valiant assault for the fatherland assault and hold
