it seems almost like everyone on the coh2.org forums is in, but i missed out on both waves QQ
i'd just like to get a general idea

Welll i signed up within a hour or 2 of alpha release, but put in 4 hours for rts played which was dumb since i play coh all the time.

20 mins after alpha sign ups started, never got a key. Hmph. >: (

By the time they released the info on FB/Twitter etc. 90% of the keys were already gone. Because the page went live 15 minutes early. Needed a little luck on getting that info quickly enough though

I'm guessing the news was on here before it hit FB and other official sources. I was lucky enough to be haunting the forums at the time and got in the first wave.

Yep thats true GenrealHell the alpha page went like like for good 15mins early...
but then Steam was giving me some hard time with password .. so I got in like good 30-40mins late yet still got the key..

well, to get one it seems all i can do is hope to get lucky.
it just sucks to think that there are people who arent trying to help the alpha and are not as big fans as me or most of the coh2.org community

wow wut? I signed up about 5 hours later and managed to get a key in the second wave. I did it at 9:30am though so maybe they set aside keys for different regions?
First game against a human though - I was winning and the opponent kicked me from the game. Sucks. I also got this really nice strat for the Ruskies though not sure if I am allowed to discuss all this kind of stuff without breaking NDA. Though I really need alpha forum access cause I really want to discuss coh2

I wonder. Took the middle option for amounts of hours I put into the game but accidentally said I had never been in beta testing before, even though I have.
Annoying that I heard people 2 hours later still signing in and getting keys instantly, tho I've put somewhere around 2500-3000 hours into Relic games. Hm.

Same , Its true that i play RTS only when i want to relax of other games , But for COH 2 - i was ready to sacrifice my whole evenings, Then there was no option for that
