I started playing brits.

The comet feels like what the tiger somewhat should be. It wipes infantry left and right, has overhelming speed and decent at capability and armor.

I dont know the numbers but this tank feels to be the most versitale tank in the game atm. Even though he is a stock unit.

Opinions?

IMO comet is what the panther should be (maybe panther could be slightly better at than ai, while comet should be maybe more ai than at)

But yes it is a great tank, similar to pershing imo.

Ostheer as Panther for AT and Brummbär for AI. Both are great at their job. Comet is an allrounder.

I just feel that panther should be a natural development for pz4. OKW pz4 was a bad idea (a buffed p4). If panther was an all rounder it would be more logical imo. It would make OKW more snsible with jagdpanzer and ostheer with stug.

But to the topic: comet is one of my favourite tanks (well.. maybe Valentine tbh)

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

But the Comet is a boring topic right now. It seems mostly okay. It may be slightly UP (or slightly too expensive for it's performance) but it isn't so bad that I'd start a thread about it.

I think coaxial and pinle mgs shoudld get a small bonus against cover help make quality armour a bit more consistent

comet is in a really good spot(tm) after the most recent adjustments. only thing i'd like to see changed would be this:

The comet tank main gun uses a 17 punder gun projectile (brit_17_punder_shell_mp)
It has an unsuitable luncher marker (fx_marker_muzzle)
Replace it with sherman firefly main gun projectile (aef_76mm_high_velocity_tank_shell_mp)
The correct projectile path will be displayed
