You think Guards are now better than before. I listed all the buffs vs nerfs and i don't think that's the case. From experience and from high ranked games been played.

I think the whole community would agree on that was the reason of the change, and not the other way around which is a total wreck of disinformation. Its not relevant to the thread.

Nonetheless, the winds of meta has shifted, and some units and commanders have really fallen out of the playstyle. I kinda wish there was a way to give underused units a little more oompf again. I recall some of the soviet AT conscript focused commanders being announced as a gamer changer back then, and they disappeared as quickly as they appeared.

I think this list of changes is big enough to propose separate it from conscripts into doctrinal squad and name it "Tank Hunter Riflemen" or so.

But... why though? Is there a good reason for this change, and will it see the doctrine picked more?

I think it won't change anything, why spend time implementing it?

At least, separate unit will have separate veterancy, which better reflect with it's performance.

I can't imagine what kind of vet they would have to have for separation like that to NOT be a massive nerf.

AT infantry and especially one with AT rifles benefit most bonus like penetration, CD, reload and less from accuracy bonuses.

Received accuracy does not help vs explosive weapons.

It does help quite a bit against all the small arms on a squad with lowest AT dps in game.

People with actual skill use vehicles AND infantry together, not one or the other.

So you agree that PTRS should have burst on the level of other AT infantry, so there is no need for them to shoot a long time to do any damage. Finally.

I have never posted anything like that stop putting words in my mouth.

If that is your opinion is that AT rifles should do the same burst damage AT rockets feel free to start a thread but I doubt you feel many agreeing with you.
