What is that timer I see? I can't do anything about it so why does it count down?

It's a work around to prevent a bug that was frequently occurring on the ZiS gun (ZiS would become unresponsive to input).
It does not affect the gameplay in any way, it's just to circumvent the bug.

@OP Assuming you're talking about the zis gun crew timer, it's just a additional mechanic added to that specific weapon to counter one of the many bugs it has. If you're talking about the satchel and gammon bomb, well you gotta move or boom.

I'm curious why only the ZiS was effected but not the other functionally identical AT Guns?
