No you're talking about Engineers who's primary role is specifically NOT fighting. If you're gonna point out their cost difference you cannot focus on dps...
Tellers, bunkers, sandbags. They have plenty of things going for them over CEs

You're saying CEs overperform for cost compared to pios, but only based on their fighting ability. Maybe compare the entire unit instead of focusing on one thing that isn't even their main job?
And like a few others have said, pios are just as good if not better in combat. You're wrong on multiple accounts

Yep. But last tiem Ostheer Piospam was a thing was 4 years ago. CE still performs.
I am fine with the situation, but I am pointing at it. Because the balcing team su**s, because they are looking at situation most player doesn't have and maybe are fine in 1vs1 most people doesn't play. lyl

The only reason Soviet build multiple CE is to save up manpower to accommodate the 160mp for teching then the 300mp penals.
Actually, its to have even a bit of capping power in early game.
You'll often see penal openings with either fast M3 or 2nd CE, often both.
