Panzer J is not available to OKW as doctrinal unit, its a doctrinal unit of the Ostheer...and the suggestion was to give switchable "heat rounds" with more Penetration similar to 76mm Sherman...

The fact that Easy8 is not being used does really say much other that there are better commanders.
Easy8 is very cost efficient vehicles and one should buff it to make it more attractive, one should actually nerf the alternatives...
If OKW P4J becomes doctrinal unit, i will agree P4J have HEAT round

That's because it's in Rifle Company, a decidedly lackluster doctrine by today's standards.
The Easy Eight and M4C are excellent units by any other faction's standards.
But in USF, they'll always be compared to the HE-round equipped Sherman or the moronic 75mm bulldozer.

Miragelfa used the M-4C allot.
The unit combines great HMG, great vet bonuses, duel purpose gun and abnormal penetration for cost. It extremely cost efficient.

People do when they use Lend Lease.
Rifle Company got another ability added to it. That didn't buff it up to the level of Mechanized, Recon and Heavy Cav.

the T-34-85 needs a totally new ability as ram is near useless for it...
Why? Ram is not its vet 1 ability, it's just an extra that it has. There's no need to replace it. It's not useless anyway because there are plenty of targets (Panthers, Tiger, King Tiger, Elefant, Jagdtiger) to use ram on and still get a good trade.
cromwell can be less shitty aswell...
The Cromwell is a good tank. Fast enough to easily cover the flanks, above average penetration to fight quite well against both Panzer IVs (despite being cheaper) and deals good damage to infantry. It has a very good timing too. Scales really well with veterancy too.

Is it though? Its round is pretty much the same as the Sherman's AP round. and it's a better shot, but what else has it really got going for it?
It's more like the Maxim in that it's one of those units you occasionally have to get because nothing else fills the role, but I'd hardly call it good.

Smaller target size
Better AOE radius
Lower tech cost (If I remember correctly)
Access to "war speed"
Access to "hammer tracking"
and an AI cousin in the same building...
On the other hand Sherman remain one of the most cost efficient mediums.

Also higher accuracy (+10% from the Tank Commander). The Cromwell is perhaps not the best medium tank, or rather it's simply overshadowed by others like the M4 Sherman or the Panzer IV J, but it is a good unit for its price and timing. Not great, not terrible. I like using them (rushing one before getting a Firefly/Comet).

True, on the other hand that is only when static...so I did wont to complicate things...
"War speed" Cromwell is quite good...Top mobility combined with one of smallest target sizes.

I disagree with a lot of the OPs points and the points I do somewhat agree with are built on faulty premises.
I think both P4s and the sherman are fine.
T-34 is adequate stat wise for cost, but the lack of a stock frontline tank for it to support means its relegated to frontline duty when it just wants to be on the flanks. Soviets usually offset this with a doctrinal pick.
I do find the cromwell underwhelming due to it's terrible MGs and jack of all trades status. It's ok for its price but it lacks a decent specialization. Maybe give the cromwell a sight increase so it can function as a pseudo spotter. That or an mg buff would be sufficient for the Cromwell imo.
