I’ll see if I can get some replays for you over the next few days.

I took a quick look and I had a few things come to mind:
1) The map looks great, but if you reverse the camera view (north becomes south) it looks absolutely majestic. Have a look and see if you wanna change the default view.
2) The fuel points seem badly placed and will be very hard to get double fuel income. If you wanna change the original fuel points placement, I think putting them on the edges of the west and east roads would be a lot better, with the original cutoffs next to the base.

The COH2.org discord might be a good resource https://discord.gg/a2uBkP

So, I was checking out the map, not testing because it was vs AI, and noticed both vehicles and infatry weren't using winther skins, same with the winter quotes units say.

Besides that, Whitheflash, if you are willing to experiment with deep snow, you could try putting some right in the middle of cap points, that way if a player puts the micro to cap in the edge besides remaining in FOW also avoids the movement penalty, just a random idea to throw out there.

The new point layout completly changes the map, it actually surprised me, it may turn into games with more infatry play because of how easy is to attack the cutoff for the fuel, who knows. If I manage to get matches vs real opponents will post a replay.

Finally, the map looks really cool *wink* a most needed addition to the pool once is ready.

Watching this map played I like the new split. Crossroads X is a very neat layout I am going to try this

Seems like it's easier to finish the match faster on this version as it's harder to sit on the own fuel and ammo

My only problems with the map is that there is maybe one territory point to much on each side of the map, probably the one where the old muni point used to be, and I wish it was little easier to get a triple cap. Otherwise the movement of the muni and fuel points are actually brilliant ideas and aesthetically this map is great.

The main issue I see with the map is once you win the middle you secure your fuel and cutoff your opponent’s fuel with ease.

Good question, I have not tried the map out in that way, but the final product should be able to do that for the general public if it cant already.

Have the games you’ve seen/played helped you change the map for the better?

100% yes. They always do on every map for sure. replays/spectating are the most effective way to improve a map, as long as the players are reasonably good and evenish teams are involved.
