I don't usually download replys but since Juslin posted a losing game I thought this is really good, but I was disappointed. For the first 16 minutes the game is full of mistakes.

Juslin:

-did not send 1 unit to capture opponent fuel side in the beginning
-focused on one area too much (his cutoff)
-did not get molotiv!!!!
-got in losing engagements
-was going where his opponent wanted him to
-the cut-of he tried around 4-5 min was very weak, Gaip already had the vp connecting everything
-getting mortar first was not the best choice, the mortar only started paying dividends at minute 9, I think a well microed maxim would have been more useful at the start

Gaip:

-had this game but his biggest mistake was teching up to t4
-making a sniper instead of a second mg and a ht cost him map control
-not making an at gun until Sherman was out

Basically Gaip relaxed from the easy win he had at the beginning while Juslin made a good doctrine choice to counter that. Gaip could have finished that game in 20 minutes instead his mistake made it last 1 hour.

This game showcases why conscript spam is not viable on north langres as your cutoff will get abused to death. I learnt the hard way as well. Giap could have ended the game much earlier with a quick P4, the only thing he got from T4 was a panther?! He almost gave the game away to Jesulin, and Jesulin could have drove the nail in the coffin with killing that panther that had no gun and destroyed engine...

Also if Jesulin had gone for snipers during the middle of the game he could have had a much easier time. Instead he suicided 5 or so Shermans into that elefant. Giap should have gone for a brumbar with the elefant on the field or even an p4 to end the game much earlier.

Sturm Tiger Giap blew 480 Munitions on nothing, 3 Bombing runs that killed absolutely nothing when he could have just built 8 teller mines and killed any attempt for Shermans to flank.

Why do the top players always refuse to build Teller mines where are they floating so so much munitions? The 1 teller mine he built killed a Sherman, you think he would draw the connection that teller mines are a good idea.

No, this game is exactly not a good example of that. Juslin did not use his cons effectively. He could have done many things to swing the early game to his advantage including:

-capturing the other oil
-getting molotov
-picking the right engagements instead of being reactive

GG, but I find the lack of mines from both sides disturbing. Jesulin, u built demo charge but it got rarely used. At 1 time Giap put a Pak next to it, if u stole that Pak, the game will end in 20 mins max.
