CheatCommands Mod has nothing to do with BuckyBoy other than giving the inspiration for me to develop CheatCommands Mod. I don't know is he "back" or not. He has not been updating 1337coh.com news since January.

this sounds super interesting. But cannot get it to work. Downloaded, unpacked, moved to game Folder, created shortcut, added commands.
But whenever I click the shortcut, game starts, together with a funny error message from steam saying "game is already running" and then it starts as usual. Any idea?

Please post your shortcuts target line here.
You could also try adding launch parameters in steam for testing it.

1. Goto your steam games collection, right click CoH2 and select Properties.
2. Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
3. Enter "-dev -mod CheatCommands" without quotation marks and click OK.
4. Close the game's Properties window and launch CoH2.

Impressive work!

And I guess it will work online as long as the opponents use the same mod. But you can already control your opponents units so why would you need one?

Cheatcommands mod does not work with multiplayer. A lot of features count on mouse position and since it is local for everyone, a sync error will occur. This mod is designed for singleplayer/skirmish only. I might do an MP version after game release.

wow thank you. The steam command together with your 1.01 did the trick. Thank you!!
Update: Desktop shortcut now works as well. May be it was just a "shut up and reboot" that did the trick.

CheatCommands Mod Light Edition, version 1.15
NOTE: This version of the CheatCommands Mod will most likely be only available and updated for as long as -dev command like parameter support is enabled again.
NOTE! DO not use grid keys. Use classic keys instead to use this mod. Using grid keys disables all hotkeys assigned to abilities, which are calling CheatCommands mod functions.
Thanks to Corsix's hack to allow loading unsigned SGAs, it is possible to run SGA based mods.

CheatCommands Mod LE is pretty much the same as it's precursor but with fewer features. While Scar_DebugConsoleExecute is disabled without -dev mode, using abilities with custom hotkeys is the only way to achieve hotkey to scar function call binding.

CheatCommands Mod is not a cheat or a hack to gain advantage in multiplayer. It is a debugging tool which can be used for, but not limited to:
- testing and learning units and game mechanics
- reproducing events for debugging (for example reproducing an event causing a bug/glitch)
- single player cheating

This mod will not work in multiplayer, as it relates to cursor position and other client side features which will result a sync error.

How to install:
Method #1 (regular shortcut):

1. Extract contents of the downloaded .zip archive to your CoH2 install directory and create a new shortcut to RelicCoH2.exe
One way of making a new shortcut:
-Right click on RelicCoH2.exe and select Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut)
-Default path to CoH2 install folder in Windows 7 is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2\
-RelicCoH2.exe is located in this folder.

2. Right click on your newly created shortcut. Select Properties.
3. Add

after the last quotation mark in Field called "Target" under "Shortcut" Tab. Notice the space before last quotation mark and -dev.

By tomorrow. Corsix already updated his hack to allow loading unsigned sgas. I will update this as soon as I can. In meanwhile, experienced users can request instructions to recompile my mod's sga with the latest .fnt file provided by corsix.

Doesn't work with Case Blue DLC mission? Can you be VAC banned for using this?

edit- it wiped all my Case Blue DLC progress, now instead of all mission unlocked to General (except 1) they were all reset. Didn't wipe the Steam achievements though.

I wouldn't consider VAC ban as a possibility.

Reason for that was most likely CheatCommands mod not loading Case Blue archives to the game. I got my Case blue stats wiped as well.
