Well of course, that's pretty obvious. "Stars" are entitled to get their prize but the back scene people are generally the backbone of everything and they deserve their fair share. Should there be a better balance? I bet. In: Other Games |

Very nice read. At the moment with competitive gaming those people doing all the production and organisation get very little credit or financial rewards for doing what they do. Compared to the players who if I'm honest have the easiest role to play in the grand scheme of things. Pop up at the event, sit on the chair, use mouse and keyboard for 15 minutes, win and take the money. If you're narrow-minded then yes, they have the easiest role. However things are rarely that simple. Do the production and organization people get too little credit? Maybe, but how would you give them more credit.. Too little financial rewards? I guess, would need to know exact numbers. Whatever the case, keep in mind that people are there for the players. If you study, learn and practice, eventually majority can keep the pitch and the stadium ready for footballers. But even if people trained three times more than David, only few could bend it like Beckham. In: Other Games |

Thread: Let's get physical! (Workout thread)30 May 2013, 00:19 AM
Great to see that people workout at least in someway. I just want to remind you about the importance of resting and eating...those two combined are almost important as workout itself. I've seen many cases where someone I know work their ass off at the gym but neglect resting and eating. If you focus even a little bit on those two things, you get better results compared to the guy who trains more than you but doesn't rest and eat properly. In: Scrap Yard |

I retort with this: you guys have to be very naive to think this technology is as powerful as it is. It isnt. Its a hyped up, merchandizing scheme. I'll have to ask again, what makes you so sure about this? You write like you somewhat knew thoroughly this technology and Microsoft's policies. The Kinect 2 is enormous privacy issue if it scans environment and uses the collected data for marketing etc, as I have read. The fact that it can't be turned off completely... let's say it wont help people to be less naive to think this technology is more powerful than it really is. Violating privacy, coming physically to your home (via camera and microphone) so that they can ensure you're not violating any "rules" (f.e. too many people watching a movie) is incredibly ridiculous. They are going over the line and far. Not saying that MS is the first to do so, but this is insulting. Looks like corporations actually believe they can do anything... In: Other Games |

I will just leave this here . That's very disturbing, especially if you have read the book. It is not illegal surveillance, because it is completely anonymous, it is not releasing the information at all. What makes you so sure about that? You have to be very naive if you believe it's completely anonymous and doesn't release any information. In: Other Games |
