The expansion will be great, I am sure about that. I think that many people that complain about Soviets and Americans teaming up, simply don't like the Soviets. They think Soviets are "evil" and that you can't match something "evil" with something "good". These people just take the historical accruracy as a pretense. I can't wait for the two new factions joining the battlefield. what? Are you insane? No, i don't like sovs+ americans because its completely ahistorical. I'm also excited for the new factions. I can't wait to play as soviets againts the new german faction. What im not looking forward to is sovs+ americans in one team game. In: COH2 Gameplay

The ISU was dangerous because the powerful HE shock crippled tanks and killed crews, rather than penetrating and destroying them as was the norm. the HE round could rip a turret of completely from a tiger. I mean americans running around stalingrad is not going to become a major immersion breaker because the map "stalingrad" you could just treat as any regural ruined city. Right? However, a historical battle mode for team games is a must.I mean the new german faction + old one is not really immersion breaking, however soviets + americans really breaks immersion. Yes they use the models of tanks, units and weapons. But that doesn`t mean they have to follow history by the book. I mean look at the campaign they did It`s a multiplayer-competitive real time strategy. In competitiveness you can`t keep historical accuracy. If you don`t want to team up with US as a Soviet play a comp stop or a custom game with friends. I don`t see you complain though fighting against Ubercommando West as a Soviet. Hmm, what about the OTHER company of heroes, that had historical accuracy.No problem with brits+ usa working together. And that was way more competitive than coh 2 ever was. Comp stomp? I actually want a challenge. With friends? Gets boring real fast. If you can, please suggest some ww2 rts that is actually realistic OTHER than men of war, that actually has an ALIVE multiplayer. The only reason i played coh 2 and not coh 1 is because of the fact that the eastern front is more intersting. Other than that, coh 1 does everything way better. In: COH2 Gameplay

If you want historical accuracy go read a book or watch a documentary. Games are just like art. You want to create fantasy art? Go draw a bunch of dolphins in a forest. Fine. I have no problem. Games are the same. Go make up some fantasy ancient rome with lasers. Go make sovs + americans if you want. But also don't forget to make atleast a few games depicting reality. And that's the problem. Except men of war, which has it's own problems, there are NO historical ww2 rts games. COH 2 was, but i guess it wont be anymore. In: COH2 Gameplay

If they really don't enable sovs+US matches i will quit the game. Retarded. See? There are two sides to the argument. I'm not really calling you retarded btw, just mirroring your statement. I can appreciate that it's a WW2 game, and I would want the single player to be accurate, but if you want CoH to be regarded as a true competitive game, then limiting options for matches seems counter-intuitive. I dunno, I find it fun either way but this is the first community for a competitive game I've ever seen want to limit options to the player to benefit 'historical realism'. It's like if I was playing King of Fighters and demanded SNK not allow Terry to fight Andy because they are brothers in the storyline and it wouldn't make sense. Or my opponent can't pick the same character as me because it wouldn't work like that in real life. this is a competitive RTS? really? Well if its a competitive rts it is the WORST competitive rts of all time. If i want to play a competitive RTS i buy starcraft. In: COH2 Gameplay
