You build them just as easy (or in cases of most doctrines- easier) than any other tank. If they increased the risk factor of heavy tanks i wouldnt even be against buffing them to account for not being able to call in multiples and the like. I actually think going in the opposite direction might be the better idea. Right now super heavies are quite expensive and therefore have to have a very huge impact upon the game when they arrive. If heavies were cheaper they by necessity would have to be weaker and therefore would have a less dramatic impact upon the battlefield. This would also bring them closer to non-doc units so that the only counter to a super heavy won't be another super heavy. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: CoHO, bulletin crafting, profitability18 Sep 2014, 02:18 AM CoHO definitely was my favorite iteration of VCoH. The bulletins, hero units, and abilities made just about every strat viable. Even stug spam was a thing in that game. We also have CoHO to tank for the current VCoH balance since most of the changes made to the Americans and Wher in that game eventually found their way to VCoH. That is not to say there weren't some really unbalanced things about CoHO, its just that each faction had them so it all sorta worked out in the end. In: COH2 Gameplay

The soviet army is designed to play a specific way. Their tech, units, and commanders take into account (or at least should) the lack of upgradable infantry. This is how they are balanced. When you introduce weapon upgrades into the mix the entire balance of the faction gets thrown out of order. Having access to bazookas alone would completely change soviet early game by giving them reasonably good infantry based AT. Even if it could be balanced somehow it would require balancing for two different scenarios; those in which soviets have access to weapon upgrades and those times they don't. I agree that team games, particularly 3v3 and up, need better balance but conscripts with bars or bazookas is not the way to fix it. In: COH2 Balance
