It makes more sense for Ostheer when they already have a TD hole. Actually, use of Jagdpanthers were sporadic, varying per source. The one i found mentioned many of them participated in the Ardennes of the Battle of the Bulge. I personally am tired of super tanks. They only cause imbalance and are boring to use. They are also the laziest approach to problems and are only liked like a desire, despite suffering constant mechanical issues. Regardless, if Ostheer actually gets a working TD stug, then it wont need to rely on a doctrinal TD. In: COH2 Gameplay

I don't think Hetzers would even be needed once StuG is back to a TD style weapon Thats if Relic wants to give Ostheer a nondoctrinal effective TD. It still has only 50 range and will get aten by other tank destroyers. I just want to play Ost without needing to fork over hundreds of fuel for panthers or Tigers just to get tanks that wont be aten by Jacksons and actually be able to fight IS-2's... In: COH2 Gameplay

I don't see why both units cannot exist. Especially considering how the Jadgpanther was by and far a bigger used tank in the war than the Elefant. The Jagdpanther would have been more fitting for OKW in the Ardennes... However, Ostheer Hetzers would be cool, fitting, affordable, and very cost effective. Thread: RNG 16 Feb 2015, 23:06 PM Just had a game where KT escaped front lines because it suffered a gun crit. Then right before it was able to hide behind its base flaks, a t34/76 charged at the KT, and its first shell penetrated 425 armor, blowing it up. And then a recon run crashed and blew up a priest. Thread: Ostheer: What is to be done?16 Feb 2015, 21:50 PM Ducks under table to avoid being hit by rocks Nerf Jackson damage to 160 and not compensate for nerf. Itll still be miles better than the su-85 simply because of the turret (and teching). It is better to change one unit to improve other units than to buff multiple units to stand a chance against one unit. Though most importantly... USF and OKW teching is dirt cheap compared to Ostheer and Soviet teching (even more so since teching for WFA rewards you in turn for teching) - and Ostheer has the most mp intensive teching overall. I still fear Ostheer being able to fast tech to T4 and put out a panther fast enough to deal with enemy armor... OKW can do it, but they have no other battle tank (good job, design team), but Ostheer has T3. T3 is not a thing vs. USF, but then the nerf should make things somewhat better... Brummbar should definitely be cheaper, since its AI performance is nothing special. Panzerwerfer definitely should perform better... But T4 is the final stock tier for the late game. I do not want to ever see it as a option over T3; but only as an upgrade of T3. In: COH2 Gameplay

The massive artillery duels are one of the coolest things about the North African front. Sdkfz pulling a mobile Flak 88. Wespe/ Hummel SPG vs. 15 pounders/Sexton. 100% era authenticity doesnt matter too much, In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: British Forces vs. Afrikakorps - My suggestions15 Feb 2015, 19:31 PM Everything is cool and all, but the British Forces have no form of stock indirect fire. Churchill being defense and Firefly being offense makes more sense, and offense has very inadequate AT firepower (i surely wouldnt trust an m10) making defense the choice every game. Well, i say "inadequate" but defense looks like a no brainer atm... Pioneer 3 mp40's would have to be good in order to be worth the upgrade. In: COH2 Gameplay
