OKW isn't far behind. Soviets are 79%, they're about 70%.
But the Übermenschen must be at least twice as good as the Soviet dogs!

they should have added an SU100 destroyer in there
Then the name of the commander would make sense. Id certainly buy that. |
@Cannonade: 5 men can barely drag a Soviet 45 mm AT gun through mud IN REAL LIFE, of course. If two men in COH2 can drag an AT gun, there is nothing wrong with one man carting around a mortar. |
My money is ready for Encirclement Doctrine.
Anyways, im assuming close the pocket works like fallshirmjager paradrop + strafes in which you select the CP and the ability activates and blows up sectors and connected sectors that are cut off. |
My guards always seem to have problems with fallshirmjagers, even when I double them up and they have LMG's. |
So buff axis? Anyways, units can be pinned by strafe on retreat, but since they are in retreat, they cannot escape. Also, (part of tank pathing) tanks literally bounce back after meeting puny obstacles in their path. Makes running away from chasing units stupid when the driver pulls the emergency brake when driving full speed and the tank flies back dozens of meters. |
Not sure about FG42, but I think bars use assault rifle profiles, aka medium-short range.
I know for a fact the fg42 is considered an assault rifle, and i always assumed the BAR is an lmg in this game because it is identical to a lmg42.. |
You should try serving in the military.
Youll discover dragging shit across uneven and difficult terrain after several days of sleep deprivation, low nurishment and stress, after a forced march with full field gear weighin almost as much as yourself, is fucking different than a shopping cart at yournfucking supermarkets linoleum sheets and paved parking places.
If two men can drag an AT gun through mud, then anything is possible.
Its not like all Soviet infantry have to travel 100km to get to the battlefield instead of being transported by Urals/on t34's and still have full endurance. |
Its kind of a cool feature actually lol. AT guns being abandoned with 1 man left makes sense, but a mortar? Only takes 1 model to carry it
My logic exactly. Whats wrong with one man running away with a mortar? Its pretty logical compared to many things in this game, and it surely isnt breaking the game. |
Retreat seems to be broken or something. Retreating troops get stuck on things and get wiped. Also, if you strafe retreating infantry, they get pinned and the player cant do anything about it because the units *think* they are retreating by crawling back to their base.
Also, retreat pathing fails sometimes... i had a squad of infantry walk forward in a straight line from my base, and they got into a skirmish and i was forced to retreat it. Instead of running safely in the direction where they came from, my squad ran sharply to the left into
a stumpioneer squad and got wiped.
In my book, retreat is the "run in all directions and get stuck and hide behind things" option. |
