I was thinking that LMGs are very inaccurate weapons at long range unless bipod. Obers dont lay down, so they dont use bipod, so they should not get such DPS at long range, am I right? On the other hand Grenaders have bipod, they lay down so they should get high long-range DPS but they have less than Obers. Hmmm.....
Does the lmg34 have to have twice the DPS of an LMG42? LMG42 technological downgrade? The grenadiers feel ripped off with their 60 muni upgrade... |
its not only 400 mp, there are teching costs as well
Id have any faction pay a thousand fuel to be able to blob up the terminator himself - nondoctrinally. |
For every obersoldaten you build, you save a regular 120 munitions (however many OKW munitions) because 100 manpower or so equates into an lmg with twice the DPS of an lmg42. Completely, reasonable, right? |
Instead of changing the SU-85, I would suggest replacing it with something on par with the Panther that also has a turret.
Like say for instance, the IS1.
Would be cool, but that would make T4 the absolute choice, so making it available after T3 + T4 is built would be great since it would be a huge fuel investment and help Soviet call in meta with a viable unit that is capable of challenging Axis medium-heavies. |
My shock troopers disagree with your panzergrenadiers, then. |
but another sherman variant is LAZY
Ill tell the US military to stop improvising successful tanks to perform odd necessary functions in desperate times of warfare. |
I remember November infantry combat of last year....
Never again. |
Personally I'd say 180 Rear, 380 Front, 800 Health, +160HP at Vet 3.
The Sherman appears in the game 3 times:
M4A3 75mm US Army
M4A3E8 US Army
M4A2 76mm USSR
The T-34 chassis appears 3 times, are you sick of it too?
T-34/76
T-34/85
SU-85
What about the KV series? The KV-1, KV-2, and KV-8, also appearing 3 times, yet KV-85's are a frequently requested unit.
Or maybe you're sick of the Panzer IV, which appears 8 times:
Panzer IV Ausf. G
Panzer IV Ausf. F1
Sturmpanzer IV
Flakpanzer IV
Panzer IV Ausf. H
Panzer IV/70 (Jagdpanzer IV)
This would also be neat, a British Relief Commander that dispatches British troops (5 men, performance between Volksgrenadier and Grenadier, Bren upgrade?), Daimler or Humbler Armoured Cars, and finally either a Comet tank, Sherman Firefly, or M10 Achilles.
You said it exactly right (and with the jumbo how i had it in mind) |
Ill say it again -
Su-85 isnt effective vs. OKW because of schreckblobs, but...
The su-85 obviously doesnt deal with volks and that is what maxims are for.
The random max speed boost caused by blitz makes the su-85 redundant because the tank can blitz faster than the su-85 can rotate (at least when the su-85 is using focused sight), causing the su-85 to miss, and the tank can simply overcome the su-85 with its jet boosters. And thus, countering the counter.
Thats not fair... :/ |
I find the kubel to be in a good spot right now. Economically, it no longer provides a net buff to the OKW players' fuel income. It is also now a more interesting unit to micro.
As OKW, I find that I can, with a little bit of effort, have my kubel alive in the lategame as a useful flank-control unit.
As USF and Sov, I have a relatively easy time destroying even a well-microed Kubel, since a little bit of planning goes a long way towards ending it.
I do however believe that the kubel should be exempted from main gun destroyed crits. Its just a bit too much for me seeing a kubel I just ambushed get away after eating two AT nades with a destroyed MG... How does that even make sense?
I think any light scout car can suffer this critical where it gets "main gun destroyed" and its HMG bursts into flames as a result... Quadmount m5's suffered this, but still had the ability to shoot, which is hilarious to see 4 burning 50 cals still firing at you. It makes zero sense and does need to be removed... :/ |
