Thread: Elite Panzerschreck9 Feb 2020, 15:45 PM I thought panzershreck is already elite panzershreck, considering stats vs any other handheld AT weapon in game. Also, what would happen if they were to drop it? Wouldn't better solution be to tailor vet bonuses to support the weapon better, like guards have/used to have 10% increased pen for PTRS? So can ZiS and it doesn't take fuel for it, which comes back to what Hannibal and me said, lack of efficiency compared to literally any other alternative for any other situation. According to test someone did (do not remember currently) they could take out an Elephant (3 or 4 if I remember correctly) Because tests like that are 1000% indicative of what's happening in actual games, right? The reason I mentioned the Elephant is simply because some people seem to think it can only deal with light vehicles when that is not the case when in numbers. Another advantage when in numbers is that if they are kept apart the can hit the read armor of units trying to dive. As pointed out, its still incomparably higher cost in fuel, mp and pop and you still lose a crapload of resources in doing so. But hell, I can assure you, enough PTRS penals can take down Brummbar frontally - it doesn't mean PTRS is great AT weapon. In: COH2 Balance

Imo a doctrine choices with less effective to deal with dig in units is unfair for the scatter results MHT burns buildings and has great AoE in comparison that lasts much longer then ZiS barrage. Thread: Su76: Any chance for it to be looked out?9 Feb 2020, 10:23 AM A shock AI vehicle has limited time window and it needs to perform well enough to exploit that time window before med armor arrives and rolls over it. An AT vehicles do not have that disadvantage, because they are MEANT to go up against medium armor as well and perform decently enough for their cost. That's why Puma and to a limited degree AEC can engage medium armor in faction unique way while still providing some very minor AI support free of any additional resource tax. SU-76 however, while performing its AT role well, with barrage being nerfed and costing muni now doesn't do anything in a unique way over ZiS gun, therefore its pointless to get it over ZiS gun as its only a weaker ZiS gun with much higher cost. And if its better to backtech to T2 and get ATG instead, that only further proves my point that this 70 fuel vehicle is NOT worth it, even if you have to spend 500+ manpower to get alternative that can be easily lost to a single squad with automatic weapons. I like how you tried to go up against my argument and ended up reinforcing it with further example signifying the underperformance of current SU-76. In: COH2 Balance

They were removed because people complained a crocodile coming with a free AT squad was op It was REs, not commandos. AT REs came with one churchill and salvage REs with other originally. "AI vehicle is OP therefore AT vehicle is not used" Amazingballs logic there. Care to show us how your T-70 handles these P4s? Also, T1 and T2 had their current cost when SU-76 was spammed most games, literally nothing MEANINGFUL changed here since T1 and T2 cost was lowered from 40 and 50 fuel. In: COH2 Balance
