Meta option is combined tactics for guards doc, BO is 3 cons, t2, maxim, medics, guards, replace each lost con with more guards, but don't spam them, skip T3 vehicles, go straight for T4, upgrade 7th men on cons and get KV-1. Cap whatever you can and fall back to maxim position when he pushes, make sure maxim is always behind cover otherwise it'll be sniped, because its bad at its job. Once you vet up, YOU will have advantage, even at long range, blobbers like that rarely get LV, so don't worry about it and if you do, well, you have guards. Late game your inf + planes will fend off any blob. Non meta option - use NKVD doc and use his propaganda arty in anticipation while soft retreating so it hits the blob before it does too much dmg to your units, use any commander with propaganda arty or just use DSHK. BO is roughly the same, just ZiS instead of guards and maybe 2nd maxim. In both, get katiusha later on. That's how I'd do it. In: Lobby

It doesn't matter its THE BEST generalist tank in AT department, if it doesn't one shot whole squads, its just a bad unit. You know, like command panther was a bad unit for no reason until HH played it in the tournament and it magically became a good one with no changes. In: COH2 Balance

Tiger DPM: 1920 ISU AP DPM: 1440 The ISU is 25% less effective than the Tiger, I find it quite fair considering its range, so "incomparably" is quite false too. I didn't said its not an AT option, I said its inferior option. It will do the job, but its not good at it compared to anything else, other 70 range units included. In: COH2 Balance

But in the time ISU will take one shot that will likely miss, Tiger will do 3. You are better off with desperate SU-76 then ISU if you need actual AT. In: COH2 Balance

Even broken clock points correct time twice a day. Generalist statement could become true with time, regardless of how incorrect it was at the time of making, unless you say something completely obvious. You weren't the first one to say super heavy doctrines shouldn't have arty counters, in fact you're not even in top 100 of people who said it, that topic was open from the moment these units became meta, which was much, much earlier then 2 years ago.
