At the moment it needs to lose extra hp or damage reduction bonus. T-70 can pen King Tiger frontally too, you just need RNG, but still happens. 222 can also pen IS-2, just RNG. And its not losing either of these things, because it needs them to fulfill its role. I have already told you, it has 960 effective health, the exact same as panther. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: KV110 Mar 2021, 11:25 AM The intended role of the tank - damage sponge/break through tank with weak ass gun. It has the same effective health as Panther. Lower health and damage reduction are there to make repairing it faster. Its all balanced if you actually understand what stats it has and why they are thee. In: COH2 Balance

Grens already struggle, imagine if they to deal with a buffed CQC unit that has HTD and sprint. Youd have no real tools against it. On top of making already mega strong commanders stronger (the kv1+ppsh+il2+guard commander) Hence they shouldn't get a stat increase, but additional utility, like a grenade if we were to buff ppsh. They cost 7 pop and perform twice as good at both, repairing and fighting then any other engineer. Ost often ends up with 3 pios in late game, soviets with 2-3, depending on doctrines allowing repairs, UKF really depends, because bolstered inf is very pop heavy and USF is USF. 2 spios is completely in line cost-wise and performance-wise compared to what other factions get in late game. If OKW didn't had mech automatons, we'd be seeing double spio on regular basis. In: COH2 Gameplay

Swap ppsh with svts, fits the theme of advanced weapons, and would give some more variety. If you wanted a way to differentiate that svt from the airborne one you could make it an upgrade or something. That's pretty good idea actually. However ppsh also provide HTD which is very useful utility for 7 man cons. PPSH alone however are trash. Alternative would be to give PPSH cons an actual grenade. In: Lobby
