Do not underestimate snipers against maxim spam. Exactly which unit would you like the soviet to kill your sniper with?
No T1, no cons, an RNG mortar is the closest thing to a counter they could have.
This doesn't really apply to a 2v2 where one player has spammed maxims and the other actually has gone special rifle command. |
increase the reinforcement cost for the soviet sniper, from 90MP to 180 MP IMO.
Probably a bit excessive, but 90 is slightly too cheap. Maybe 100-110. |
I took it on in a 2v2 context so it wasn't quite so easy when in a 1v1 it means no AT, no mollies/At nades etc to start with. And it's not like scout cars have uber armor anyway especially facing down MGs in buildings and such. |
I have only encountered it once. I lost to it because I didn't know what was going on at first and didn't think on my feet fast enough to realize what to do. I focussed on shelling the support teams and then flanking but of course they reinforced. In retrospect I should have shelled the building directly. |
If only the stupid maxim had an undeployed state they could just balance it so that they could only cap while packed up. |
Is PTRS supposed to be an AT weapon? I thought it was supposed to counter light vehicles, which it does now quite effectively? I mean if it's fairly effective against medium tanks like the P4, Stug etc it would be utterly ludicrous for it to come so early in the game. Button allows it to synergize with the rest of your army but I'm seriously questioning some of this stuff here. |
Yeah busted out double mortars to counter some hardcore maxim spam a few hours ago. It was the stupidest most unintelligent kind too, they had them all bunched up in a line. They kind of kept walking forwards and setting up quicksmart like they do and dodged most of the mortar fire. Got some good hits mid-game but by then it was GG. I feel like if I'd gotten one or two good shells that would have been it, the line would have busted wide open because they were so tightly grouped, but it didn't happen. |
I think this screens are not a good example, the german player dont listen the tank sound???
They need retreat when know that a tank is comming...

So you're saying my infantry should automatically assume every tank sound is a KV8 and just retreat? |
There should just be a mode for units you could optionally enable for "target vehicles only". But yeah, being able to tell your tank to keep firing at the most important target while also controlling their movement would be very useful. I'm not sure how to implemented it elegantly. There also needs to be a way to give an attack order for "attack while in range, but don't chase". |
The voucher might expire then but GMG has 20% off vouchers quite often. If somebody missed this deal they could still most likely get it less than a month from now at equivalent or greater discount. |
