I've been saying this since beta. There was a change that suddenly made it laggy, so I don't think it is entirely to do with the background videos. It was probably a framerate cap that was put on it so as not to strain the GPU while idling in the menu. But the cap is far too low. Sorry I cannot help you, but I think this is something Relic needs to change. |
Nay, tech should be more rewarding. An example would be Soviet tiers having access to T34/85s with the 76s as a call-in ability. (This could also be done to Ostheer but the changes would be too great to be implemented so much time into release.)
Alternatively teching could make call-ins cheaper (better for playing the long game). |
Most of the time it is actually a benefit to have the CAS plane shot down. It only does one pass anyway and then it has the benefit of crashing (always point plane towards the enemy's side though). |

It barely reaches medium range when not locked down. Have you used it like that? The reload speed (not locked down) is abysmal as well, and the shot often doesn't penetrate Panthers, Tigers, etc, even vet2 P4s. It is difficult to imagine it will reach ISU effectiveness.
Also for some reason KV1, KV2, and KV8 armour and health(?) are different (or so I read). |
Is something limiting your connection to Relic's servers? That's all I can think of for now. |
