I'd send one or two units over that he needs most. If you are otherwise winning, what is important is not letting his side break so your side is encircled.
I think it was good before, the problem being its use at max capacity on the US base to destroy all buildings. But it could have just been changed to restrict the base area.
What if armour had a maximum and minimum value, and where you keep taking hits your armour goes down to the minimum value? Heavily armoured tanks would then be good for the surprise blitzkrieg but couldn't as easily trudge through defensively placed AT. ZiS/57mm guns against KTs would actually have an effect then, not necessarily in damage but in softening the target for SU85s/Jacksons. Having minimum armour wouldn't need to mean the tank turns into paper, just easier to penetrate after getting hit so much.
Prioritise Vehicles should also hold fire on the supporting crew. I had a camouflaged Zis lying in wait and a crew member took a rifle shot at the vehicle and gave the gun away.
If armour is in the target area during the planes' recon pass (where it doesn't fire), you will be followed outside of the target area since it has locked onto you.
"we must obey all traffic laws and complete a full stop before we can save ourselves using smoke."
Once you get a handle on how it works it's not too bad. It stops to shoot smoke but it will continue shooting if you issue a move order immediately. Other abilities would be canceled by the move order. It would be nice if it was completely separate though.
