Give pioneers demo charges and sturmpios demo charges through doctrine. It's a basic item that all factions should have access to, just like wire, regular mines, fighting emplacements etc. |
It seems to me that the allies get all the best anti-blob units when they are the side most guilty of blobbing. I would like to see MG damage upped slightly vs suppressed squads, and then ramped up again vs pinned squads. Imo they just don't punish infantry enough for just sitting in front, slowly crawling forward to nade or simply just picking off the mg while suppressed..
I'd like to see axis get access to demo charges as well. It's annoying that both allied factions get them while neither axis faction does. Make it one of each or everyone. |
+1 to this but I'd also like to see shots actually penetrate, for example, a hedge or a wooden fence. It's annoying to see flak shells being completely stopped by some leaves and branches that appear to have a force field and take no damage instead of being shredded into pulp. |
I wonder what factions those people defending this exploit play... It's an exploit and needs to be fixed. None of this "Well you're pretty stupid if you let this happen" shite. Ok how about we change it so all factions except USF have 150 pop cap. Shouldn't make a difference right? You'd have to be pretty stupid to allow your opponent to get over 100 pop eh?
Yeah yeah, obtaining 154/100 pop cap isn't an exploit at all, makes no difference that USF can break the system. Next they'll be saying it was part of the faction design.
I play 2v2 almost exclusively, and I have to stress the fact that yes, this does indeed make a huge difference and needs to be fixed pronto. |
One hero Stuka punishes heavy blob use by the allies over and over again. I especially like the destruction of an entire maxim blob that was attack moving in the last 10mins.
USF guy abused the shit out of the vehicle pop-cap bug which helped him stay at max pop for more than 40mins.
Game features two flavours of attack moving blobs, Soviet and USF, and vehicles built includes 2 (badly used) Jagdtigers, 5 Tigers (also badly used) and a cluster of 4 Priests. |
Except I find my expensive IS-2 gets killed by circle strafing PzIVs or Panthers, and I mean one or the other. Single tank. Defeating an IS-2. I basically have to get it the hell out of there. It's a friggin joke that I have to run my super expensive uber tank away from the STOCK STANDARD Germans ones because they are already so good. Make panthers doctrinal again and bring them out in pairs like in the orignal. |
Yeah, best tank of the war, and it's not doctrinal. Meanwhile, the t-34/85 which was the workhorse of the Soviet army and manufactured in the 10s of thousands is doctrinal and overpriced and is minor improvement over the cruddy 76 model. |
