Thread: 2 vs 2 USF strategy!4 Jan 2016, 04:14 AM So randoms? In that case LT+ CAPT builds with callin armor docs(Armor, calliope, Pershing) got me to top 5 USF randoms. You can basically fight any threat early game with both officers and even if your teammate sucks/ you don't have fuel, you can still fight late game with vehicles n stuff. In: US Forces Strategies

Yes and no. 17 pounder cannot accept heavy machine guns IIRC but all the other emplacements should allow you to garrison and fire out of them from all directions with any squad type I assume you get increased rate of fire or whatnot from a garrison but what are the exact specs? check the guides section> British forces> unit guide it has the exact bonuses for all emplacements and other info In: UKF Strategies

If not am I better off leaving them with standard weapons and giving a less experienced squad an upgraded weapon? Many thanks Yeah it applies to all upgrades and weapons in the squad. So giving a vet 3 rifle a zooka, or keeping your Captain squad alive to vet 3 for more accuracy is a good idea, even though the zooka is pretty accurate on a vet 0 squad too because it mainly uses SCATTER to hit not accuracy.(even though more accuracy helps!) What I haven't yet figured out is the real difference between the MG34 Gun Team and the Obersoldaten. Which are better and why? The obersoldaten are also double the cost.. and they both feature the same gun? Weapon values are not based off the actual weapon, its balanced by the unit using the weapon, so you can have a weapon thats strong on unit and weak on another: Rear echelons, rangers, and paratroopers all use M1 carbines but the rear echelons version is way worse than the other M1 carbines. Ostheer Pioneers have much weaker Mp40s than the Mp40 assault grenadiers use, etc. The mg34 HEAVY MACHINE GUN is actually one of the worst damage dealers in the game, (it deals like 4 damage per hit while suppressing stuff which lowers incoming damage so that makes its damage even worse so its only good at supressing) while the obersoldaten light MG34 is arguably the strongest small arm in the game and can only supress once the obersoldaten hit vet level 4. This but Also Gopher as you know this upcoming 4s tournament is invite only, we're also trying to make a splash and prove we "belong" so we don't put weeks of practice in only to be snubbed and blown off. and while axis clans are our natural enemy, none of this is all that serious, it's just a natural USF VS Axis rivalry(which I hope continues ). Nothing more. We mean nothing personal towards you or your family irl or anything, but once your units step onto the field of play against our rifle blob it's ON. It means war. PS When you beat us in the future in any mode(which you probably will your team is very capable) I hope you pride post the fuck out of it, because rivalries and pride wars are eXtremely FUN!!!!!!1!1! But i do give you guys a good win, some advantages i seen was 4 US able to have FWD retreat points on the front line, meanwhile 2 OH had to retreat all the way back to base (no soviet having to do the same to create some sort of balance on units on the field) Both my OKW went tier 4 and rushed for panthers,(i dont know why) IMO they should have rushed for stuka Im not saying it would have ended different, but i think if it was a different map, where OH didnt have to retreat for a half an hour, and/or OKW went stuka, the game would have lasted longer then 20 min, 500-0 VP. WP tho. No amount of MGs cant stop that horrid. cant wait to see you guys in the 4v4 tourney.. Try retreating for half an hour vs 5,000 MGs, a battlegroup, and OKW fortress retreat points on chokehold maps.. Different map? Could the map favor axis playstyle any more? The only one worse is general mud. humiliation replay? Its just a pridepost. USF clan won vs axis clan. USF won 500-0 in axis favored mode and on axis map, and im darn proud of it. Sorry. In: Replays

Thread: Please consider removing infantry crush29 Dec 2015, 00:04 AM i love driving a surprise sherman to a mass retreat OKW blobber base and crushing all his volks and a sturm too and maybe some jaegers or falls as well and being called a crush abuser but anyway crushing a single squad when other supporting units can fire on you is extremely risky, theres not a tank that is capable of crush that doesnt die pretty fast to supporting AT besides the Panther and comet, and well you tell me how good of an idea it is to crush with a 175 fuel+ unit at that stage of the game with all the DPS running around And crushing squads that are alone vs a vehicle is fine too, not like it wouldnt have made it retreat eventually anyway. Sov guards and sections would be balanced this way. There could still be fire and move "mid range" weapons, buff pgrens STG, leave BAR as is, if OKW wants to fire and move they get g43 or STG ober, etc For Brits to fire on move they need commandos with Bren.
