Use a buddy system. Send your first 2 rifles to one side of the map. Cap territory in a way that your 1st and 2nd rifle squads meet up with eachother after capping their first point,then go huntin' for some god damn krauts.
2 rifles SHOULD beat most things they come across. They can focus down sturms this way.
Then do the same thing again;send the 3rd-4th rifle and RE to the other side of the map. They should also beat whatveer they come across. Free style from there
remember "Buddy system" doesnt mean BLOB. It just means keep them close enough to where they can support eachother,and wittle down targets before you take too much damage. Use RE's to draw MG fire.

While i dont have many team games as OKW,I definitely have plenty of expierence playing AGAINST okw in team games,1v1,you name it..(Along with being in a somewhat high ranked AT as axis)and I can tell you that a Volk heavy start with alot of shreks and reketens,handled properly,will absoulutely destroy your typical MEDIUM tank spam build(Guard motor,Rifle company etc),which is what OP SAID he is struggling with. Just because I dont waste a lot of time playing that team game hero of a mode doesnt mean I dont know anything about it. Playercard watching isnt gonna tell you the whole story. I watch the replays from the games i do play and i know what i struggle with. What was wrong with what I said? Where was I wrong? if someone goes for a Jagdtiger against 4 T34-85s....I mean come on... Axis isnt some enigma. Especially at his level. theres no need to break down some clusterfk of a replay...especially random team games. You can literally do whatever the hell you want and it can work out,just have enough AT to not get rolled. Lol. He can create his own build of just Fusiliers,Mines, and raketens(which is probably viable) ffs,but all he needs is to be pointed in the right direction regarding something he struggles with,especially at his presumed level of play. if you can come up with a noticeably better anti medium tank spam build for OKW then please share. You lost though...and at the end of the day, at least in 1v1, did you win or lose? I tried this against Miragefla while he was Ost and drug the game out 30 mins by just spamming greyhound canister and AT guns. I still lost. Im sure that game wasnt fun for Mir..it wasnt fun for me either. and to this day I havent used that commander again. Playing normally without cheese will yield more effective results 90% of the time I hope it doesnt seem like im defending how lame it is..i mean it does need to be fixed,its an unfun mechanic similar to alot of OKW things that i will leave at that. ..but coming and making another tear thread about *insert unit here* because its cheesyness lost you a game 2-3 out of 10 times gets old after a while...its not like you're on a 10 game losing streak because of greyhounds... try your best to counter it and deal with it until its balanced,or just take a break... DSHK is doctrinal which is probably why its relatively uncommon,CP restricted,its more expensive and the AP rounds are....not very good in my experiences. All MGs have bigger arcs in buildings besides Mg42/34 Also maxim and 50 do the same thing but cheaper and no restriction of doc |

It delays the living hell out of Major and sherman, takes away muni from other things and if you can survive this 2 minute shit show gimmick as Germans you just won the game. I never use this trash commander. The greyhound is just an expensive Guards grenade on wheels. retreat immediately unless your men arent clumped or you have AT nearby. If he wipes one squad,hell even two squads,and in the process loses 2 greyhounds trying to cheese you then he already lost..thats 100 or more muni,500 MP,and 80 fuel for two squads,not counting skirts which are neccessary or this thing will die to a well thrown rock. Just to be clear I never said 50 wasnt better as an aggressive MG. Im agreeing with you in that sense. But im saying would you want a .50 cal defending your cutoff/flank (Like kharkov cutoffs,Kholodny ferma cutoffs) or a fighting position. Thats the "Flank" im talking about. Id hope you'd pick spending a little bit of manpower and munitions over wasting double the manpower and ~7 pop cap,in a faction thats starved for manpower and popcap. And regarding the nades...maybe your lucky and havent lost a game due to a .50 getting blasted by RNade or GrW 34 and then finished in one burst of gren LMG, and it then being turned and used on you. |

Testing this right now. Never played Age of empires. But starting out its REALLY kinda slowish and boring to gather resources initially probably because its a prototype. However since this IS 2015 and all and computers are better than they were,can civilians be more than one individual? IM sure CPUs can handle it? Like 4-5 civilans in a "Squad" Like a family of people. So i feel like im actually expanding a colony...a state...a country. and can explorers have way more sight range,and the ability to place fires for immersion, etc? Might want to change explorer model from Sturm officer to someone like a OKW Jaeger Light infantry with no weapon,or Ostheer/sov sniper, or stormtrooper. He looks like the leader of the country just running around xD a You probably already know the voices are odd and off.. Maybe change from OKW annoncer to "Our forces increase" and "we have new units" "new units are ready to deploy" instead of "PIoneeregruppe is ready for action" Even though thse villagers are technically pioneers...eh Church is spelled wrong What do the "Ages " upgrades do? Or are you working on that Volks that you can create cant be reinforced. Why is there Flak as defense by default Kappa no base rush is possible and defeats point of walls Also when you have a bunch of villagers put down a plantation or farm,and try to make the villagers do something else,they will refuse to leave the farm or do anythin else. Could you implement an Anti Idle system as well? Have them automatically move to help other villagers Also Theres no way of knowing how many villagers can harvest on a specific resource. THeyll just stand there if you put too many of them on one thing. Not gamebreaking but still. |
