Thread: Any tips to help me improve ? 30 Apr 2015, 22:25 PM In 2v2 pick commanders that complement your teammate. only two of your commanders did. for soviets I'd recommend a commander medley with IS2,ISU,and 120mms Only 1 of your commanders aren't overlapping with USF,and its the one you didnt pick. (shock motor with ISU) You buy an M3 but dont put your penals in it initially. such early penals arent very good if they arent in M3. Conscripts are much better,get penals early if you're putting them in an M3 or something. Teammate is really idle down south and is not helping you while they double team north and secure middle. However after this,one of the OKW players drop for no apparent reason. That makes it hard for me to properly judge your play from that point on out because the AI does wierd things that affect the game too much, by the way,I prefer 1v1's to review. Not that I wont do 2v2,its just harder to give you tips directly when your teammate is causing some of your problems indirectly,etc. In: Ostheer Strategies

It seems kind of dumb to me that USF gets access to free riflemen (which is exactly what LT/captain are), just for unlocking the ability to use more units. If relic just HAS to give the USF free units for tech, what if we replaced the LTs bar with a bazooka, which would would give USF T1 a light defense against flackHT, while not giving USF access to a powerful infantry unit so quickly in the game. OR, we could increase the unlock time of LT tech by 30sec - 1min to give ostheer players more time to prepare for the m20/LT combo. You can stop trying to hide the fact that you are a USF Fanboy,comm. Embrace it. Own it. You dont have to appease these noobs with those bullshit suggestions. the LT himself is fine. The real issue with USF and OST is how early the M20 can arrive in relation to its natural ostheer predator,the 222. Make the M20 25-35 fuel. Lower BP1 tech cost to 35 fuel,make 222 upgrade automatic. Matchup fix'd. USF nerfed. But damnit if you nerf USF you better fucking nerf the STUG E and mech assault/tiger callin meta into the ground. The problem isn't that the officers are OP, they're not. It's that the US has no tech-lull (a short period during which your squad number doesn't not increase). This means they have better quality units & a higher number of units & a fast light vehicle. The Ost player is forced to spend early manpower on a Pak just in case. This leaves him without manpower to fight the larger numbers of infantry and all this is compounded by having to wait through the Ost tech lull (tech time + pio retreat + build time + unit build time) This is a really trolley thread from a really trolly biased user. He clearly said the officer has weapons that are overwhelmingly powerful and all that typical austerlitz exaggeration Pio Gren Gren Mg Sniper or another gren VS RE Rifle Rifle Rifle LT M20 slightly later, with222,halftrack, or pak coming shortly after that. M20 can be a bitch depending on the map, which I why is said vetos are important. otherwise this is yet another biased tear post from austerlitz where he will refuse the help given and make excuse after excuse. One follow-up question - when you go Breakthrough, do you ever get a sturmoficer (sp?)? I never seem to have enough munitions to use his abilities so I'm not sure how useful he normally is. I do against a maxim into shocks spammer if I want to force retreats for the lolz, when you get him you just have to understand you're not gonna have or need shrieks for a while, wouldn't get him against M3s,m20,AAHT because the direct counter to blobbing around a storm officer is mobile suppression(you can't force retreat an AAHT) or and mobile harassment with M20/M3.
